Stephen helped Bruce survive the Abyss corruption and joined Luke in confronting the Dark Multiverse and Barbatos. Luke brought the World Forge to Silent City, where Stephen then encountered another Doctor Strange and America fleeing Wanda.

• Giant defeated Darkseid, and Stephen restrained him before preparing to seal Apokolips against the Abyss.
• Bruce faced visions of fallen Batmen and The Batman Who Laughs, while Stephen entered Bruce’s mind and used Personality Stripping Surgery to remove his Abyss-infected Dark Side.
• Luke separated Young Wayne from The Batman Who Laughs, claimed the latter’s soul, and helped restore Bruce by changing his power attributes.
• Luke opened a one-way passage into the Dark Multiverse, where he and Stephen confronted the Dark Legion and calmed its members with Psionic Light.
• Luke exposed Barbatos’s disguise and used the Power of Opposition to alter his thoughts, but Barbatos demanded Abyss power in exchange for leading them to the World Forge.
• Barbatos entered the Abyss and was swallowed, while Luke warned that he could eventually return as an Abyss Dragon.
• Luke brought the World Forge and Alpheus to Silent City, where the Dwarves gathered to witness its arrival.
• Master Mage Wang brought another Doctor Strange and America to Stephen, who learned that Wanda had killed many versions of Strange and advised them to seek this universe’s Wanda’s help.

Strange learned how this universe’s Kamar-Taj and Hebron managed magic, grafted powers, and multiversal threats while preparing to face the Annihilation Swarm in his own universe. Meanwhile, Sam and the Autobots reached the Mechanical City, where the Supreme Intelligence awakened and the Blonde Man learned the dangerous cost of the Nightmare Seed.

• Wanda subdued the Scarlet Witch and guided her through a hopeful dream, then helped her begin recovering with her family and Pietro.
• Strange accepted responsibility for the consequences of his multiversal travel, joined the Doctor Strange Corps, and learned about Kamar-Taj’s library, Hebron, and the Abyss Contract.
• Master Mage Wang showed Strange Rumlow’s Beholder graft and explained the risks that grafted power posed to its users’ souls and minds.
• Stephen told Strange that his violent traversal had exposed a universe to the Annihilation Swarm, and assigned him to drive out the invaders and close the breach.
• Sam met Optimus Prime and the Autobots, who explained that his grandfather’s glasses held information about the Allspark and that the Decepticons were searching for it.
• The Blonde Man’s group and the Autobots gathered at the dam, where the Black Cube transported them to the Mechanical City and the Supreme Intelligence awakened.
• The Supreme Intelligence asked Sam, Simmons, and Optimus Prime to hide her core components and carry them out as intruders attacked her.
• The Blonde Man learned that the Nightmare Seed could accelerate civilization at the cost of its host’s life, and the metallic voice revealed that a Knowledge/Truth Altar could delay that cost while eventually attracting Evil Gods.
