Luke built alliances and a multiverse trading network as threats spread from the Nine Realms to other universes. Steve Rogers became stranded in Gotham, and the volume ended with Doomsday claiming Thanos’s dangerous gauntlet.
- Hive attacked the Inhumans’ battlefield, but Luke captured him and sealed him for research. Luke supplied Asgard with war machines and Xenomorph forces to help repel Malekith’s Dark Elf Alliance.
- Light Luke killed the Queen of Heaven with Holy Light Spears. He opened a passage to the Mystic World as Algrim emerged from the Black Stain.
- Algrim’s return corrupted Nidavellir, forcing Malekith, Odin, and others to flee as the planet faced destruction. Luke rehired Ancient One as an Energy Bank guardian and sought ways to contain Abyssal Energy.
- Rettari seized the Cosmic Stone and trapped Ronan and others in a repeating data loop. Strange warned Nick Fury that New Energy could consume mages and urged him to buy Luke’s equipment.
- Luke established a multiverse trading network and brought Nightmare into partnership through a virtual game that generated fear energy. Mephisto negotiated a contract with Dormammu to help contain the Abyss.
- The heroes defeated Thanos with the Sealing Pillar, but Captain Rogers became stranded in another universe and encountered Batman. Jonathan Crane used fear energy to overwhelm Batman.
- Steve Rogers warned Bruce Wayne that Gotham’s corruption could empower villains, and they confronted Scarecrow as Sinestro’s threat grew. Thanos collected the Lantern Beasts, but Barry Allen used the Stillness Force to trap him and remove his gauntlet.
- Doomsday put on Thanos’s gauntlet before the heroes could decide what to do with it.
