He expanded the High-Yield Rice trade despite political interference, then accepted an S-Rank mission to investigate the Land of Water and gained access to the Second Hokage’s research notes.

• Minato entered Sage Mode to stop Han, defeated him with Sage Art: Metal Storm Tenth Style, and led the rescued Konoha ninja back to safety.
• Minato returned to Konoha, reunited with Kushina, developed his plant-growth techniques, and trained Might Dai and his teammates for the Chunin Exams.
• Minato investigated the Bumper Guard General’s assassination and tracked Root ninja, while Konoha forces fought Sand Anbu to protect the General’s younger brother.

Minato mastered a form of Flying Thunder God while investigating Konoha’s compromised spy network in the Land of Water, where he uncovered White Zetsu’s role and forced Suikazan Fuguki into service. Back in Konoha, Minato earned promotion to jonin and expanded his plans for roads and livestock breeding in Liangju Town.

• Minato studied Tobirama’s notes, learned the Dead Demon Consuming Seal from Kushina, and tested a method for sealing souls as he prepared for the Land of Water mission.
• Minato and Nara Shikaku’s team discovered that Suikazan Fuguki had betrayed Konoha and confronted Hiruma, the Six-Tails Jinchuriki, in an acid-filled trap.
• Minato used the Six Unities Space to escape the corrosive mist, entered Sage Mode, and defeated Hiruma while the others stalled Fuguki.
• Minato forced Fuguki to reveal that White Zetsu had exposed Konoha’s spies, then marked White Zetsu with Flying Thunder God and rescued his teammates from Mist ANBU.
• Minato and Shikaku rebuilt Konoha’s spy network with Dong Xi as an undercover agent, then returned to Konoha with White Zetsu’s corpse.

After Mitokado Homura died on a mission, Hatake Sakumo’s nomination as Foreign Affairs Advisor passed the jonin vote, pending Hiruzen Sarutobi’s final ruling.

• Minato stole a ship and giant Summoning Beasts, then admitted his actions to the Third Hokage and was sent to the border near the Land of the Moon.
• Minato and his team wiped out a Cloud battalion, but rumors blamed him for Konoha’s losses in the Land of Waves, and the village restricted his movements.
• Jiraiya returned to support Minato, and the pair traveled to the Land of Waves, where Minato fought Hiruma and the Six-Tails while opposing Cloud and Mist attempts to seize Konoha’s mission share.
• Minato and Jiraiya killed Dodai, defeated the Six-Tails, freed Hiruma, and returned to Konoha with the bodies of Dodai and Hiruma, forcing the village leadership to confront the crisis.

• Hiruzen ordered ANBU and sealing support for Minato and Kushina, who trained until Kushina could control her Four-Tails State.
• Minato recovered the Senju Armory Scroll from Mist ANBU, then learned to use Chakra Metal weapons under Hatake Sakumo’s instruction.
• Minato helped the Summer Cicada Construction Guild make cement and build roads, while Bai Cun expanded its steamship business and trading network.
