Minato expanded Autumn Fruit and Summer Cicada while the Daimyo and Danzo moved to seize their assets and eliminate their leaders. After using a decoy to draw Konoha’s forces away, Minato struck the Castle Keep, leaving the conflict with the Land of Fire in open violence.

• Minato restored Mei’s consciousness by sealing the Seven-Tails and helped Senju Chihiro develop his Sage Body, while Takeoto resigned as Kyoto Advisor and Chihiro became a jonin.
• San Die and Song Yi helped Minato move thousands of farmers to Bumper Guard Road, where Minato established Liangju City and Shikaku investigated the migration and Guardian Ninja’s murder.
• Minato defeated a Sand force sent to steal High-Yield Seeds, killed Ebizo, and secured a resolution for Sand ninja to withdraw rather than fight him.
• General Zha Wei warned the Daimyo that Minato’s guilds and non-reusable seeds threatened his rule, and the Daimyo ordered Konoha to execute Summer Cicada and Autumn Fruit’s leaders and seize their assets.
• The Great Toad Sage prophesied that Konoha could fracture into civil war, while Kushina told Minato she would choose him over the village if necessary.
• Shikaku secretly altered an S-Rank mission scroll to warn Minato, who sent a Shadow Clone and Kushina toward the Land of Grass while his original body remained in Kyoto.
• Danzo’s ANBU attacked the Summer Cicada building, but the reinforced structure withstood their explosives and its Multiplication Exploding Tags killed the ANBU trapped inside the barrier.
• Minato killed Ren and bombarded the Castle Keep with Ten Thousand Style kunai, killing many samurai and Guardian Ninja as Danzo fled with the Daimyo.

Minato founded the Land of Summer, reshaped Konoha’s leadership, and tried to prevent a coalition from forming against the new nation. After the Rock Cloud Alliance declared war, Konoha and the Guardian Army tested their new weapons as the enemy assembled for a general offensive.

• Minato killed the Fire Daimyo and Danzo, announced his plan to establish the Land of Summer, and founded the new nation with chakra education and industrialization as its first policies.
• Minato gained the support of Konoha’s jonin, ended Konoha’s allegiance to the daimyo, and became Kyoto Advisor while arranging for the clans to help build the Defense Force and Joint Chakra Academy.
• Hatake Sakumo approached Sand Hidden Village about an alliance, but Xie killed the Third Kazekage, causing the Land of Wind Daimyo to suspend Sand’s mission commissions and admit Iwa Ninja.
• Minato confronted the Third Mizukage and discovered that Madara had controlled him through White Zetsu, after which the Mist withdrew from the summit and the Third Raikage and Ōnoki formed an alliance framework.
• Minato declared war at the summit, and after the Rock Cloud Alliance declared war on Konoha, Hiruzen named Minato commander-in-chief as thousands of Konoha and Guardian Army ninja mobilized.
• Minato and Hizashi led Guardian Army units in mortar tests that destroyed enemy reconnaissance squads, and Minato later fought the Third Lightning Kage before escaping with Flying Thunder God.
• The Third Lightning Kage and Ōnoki led more than ten thousand Stone and Cloud ninja through the Land of Hot Water, where the alliance prepared for a general offensive against Konoha.

Minato used artillery, naval power, and battlefield alliances to defeat the Rock, Cloud, and Mist forces and bring several countries under the Land of Summer’s rule. As the remaining conflict narrowed to the western front, Yahiko persuaded Ōnoki to help him gather tailed beasts for a weapon against the Land of Summer.

• Minato and Hatake Sakumo led Konoha’s forces against the Rock Cloud Alliance, while mortars devastated the advancing Iwa Ninja and Minato redirected Tailed Beast Balls into their ranks.
• After Han’s seal failed and the Five-Tails rampaged, Minato and Hatake Sakumo helped destroy the beast, then Minato’s forces drove the surviving Iwa Ninja toward the Land of Iron and negotiated Mifune’s promise to warn Konoha of future threats.
• Minato’s forces seized the Land of Hot Water’s capital and killed its daimyo, then Minato sailed north, destroyed the Land of Lightning’s daimyo and fleet, and brought the fight to Kyoto.
• Minato’s navy defeated the Land of Waves and Mist forces, while Suikazan Fuguki took control of Mist Hidden Village and accepted the Land of Summer’s reforms and authority.
• Minato warned Orochimaru that Nagato and Uchiha Madara were alive, then led the campaign against the Cloud, killed the Third Lightning Kage, and appointed Yugito Nii Fourth Raikage after the village surrendered.
• The Land of Summer conquered the Land of Iron, and Mifune died as its forces destroyed the daimyo’s regime.
• Yahiko told Ōnoki that he had killed Hanzo and proposed gathering the tailed beasts to create a weapon against the Land of Summer, then subdued Ōnoki and Rōshi and secured Ōnoki’s cooperation.
