When Velen's undead army finally climbed the walls of Antorus, the Burning Throne in wave after wave, the demon army Kil'jaeden had wanted was finally assembled as well.
By his command, the fiercest, most stubborn, and most elite demons scattered across Argus Land had all been summoned to the Burning Throne. Under The Conqueror's orders, they had rearmed this Fel holy land.
Those vicious bastards finally had commanders again.
They returned to the combat style the Burning Legion had grown most accustomed to over the past twenty thousand years. With The Conqueror personally overseeing the command, Velen, the white-clad god of death, and his undead felt little when the vengeful undead surged onto the walls—but the other supporters advancing alongside them immediately caught that "familiar scent."
They were back!

The fearless rank-and-file demons, the cunning mid-level commanders weaving about the battlefield, the Greater Demons directing the battle and bolstering morale, and the spellcasting demons providing brutal fire support at just the right moments.
That damned familiarity of the Burning Crusade had returned.
Whenever that bogged-down feeling of being trapped in a mire appeared, it meant a cruel and mad demon war was about to unfold. Today was clearly no exception.
The Conqueror had gathered every professional thug it could find here. Clearly, it intended to use the vengeful undead to help the Eredar and the cosmic sea drive one final vicious knife into the fel faction already beginning to decline, in its "last dance" before going to hell—a resignation letter to Fel Force and a job application to Death Force.
Clearly, under the current circumstances, both Fel Force and Death Force were very satisfied with this.
The former rejoiced at the coming earth-shattering
