Background / History

Gu Yue Na enters Huo Yuhao’s household after asking to stay with him. Although she presents herself as someone in circumstances similar to Tang Ya’s, she is immediately revealed to be far beyond ordinary human Soul Masters: she gives Huo Yun’er a protective Silver Dragon Reverse Scale pendant and adopts a two-ring façade to study human cultivation and society 33.

She is later identified as an existence beyond the Ten Great Ferocious Beasts, stronger than the Golden-Eyed Black Dragon King Di Tian and capable of suppressing even Mu En through sheer aura. Mu En ultimately recognizes her as the Silver Dragon King, one half of the Dragon God 105 429.

As sovereign of the Star Dou Great Forest, Gu Yue Na commands the Ferocious Beasts and ordinary Soul Beasts alike. Following a prolonged absence, she returns to the Great Ominous Land, permits the Three-Eyed Golden Lion to leave, investigates the theft of Gold of Life, and orders closer attention to injured or dying Soul Beasts so their lives can be sustained 110 111.

Gu Yue Na is generally aloof, calm, and detached. Around Huo Yuhao, however, she demonstrates a quieter warmth: she trains with him, provides food when he is exhausted, waits for his return, and consistently prioritizes his safety 34 49 175.

Her protectiveness is intensely possessive. She openly tells Mu En that Huo Yuhao is her “thing,” tolerating his interactions with others only because she chooses to do so. If Shrek Academy fails to keep him safe, she threatens to become its greatest danger herself 105.

Despite her authority, Gu Yue Na can be playful and cunning. She intentionally loses a game to disrupt the group’s atmosphere, teases Huo Yuhao when he is vulnerable, and takes pride in being the first person to form an intimate relationship with him in this lifetime 109 151.
