Gormlaith Gaunt, completely oblivious, held the swirling black particles close to Sean and said casually, "Draco, this is just a little insurance policy, don't worry, it won't do you any harm—of course, if you spread this around, the policy might explode, ah—"

She smiled and said, "At that time, your heart will slowly decay and decay—but it won't be painful, because you will lose all sensation in that instant."

"As a 'pioneer'... believe me, death is actually nothing more than a fleeting moment." Gormlaith laughed maniacally.

Sean took two steps back, his back pressed against the cold wall, his voice still filled with fear and unease.

"Madam, I assure you, I will do whatever you ask me to do! Think about it, what benefit would I get from revealing this? Like you, I also hope that Pure-blood families will stand on the high ground they deserve..."

Gormlaith's smile was cruel and sinister, "Draco... I know you Malfoy Family too well... You are indeed good partners—if I can control you."

She stopped wasting words with Sean, and the black particles adhered to his skin, then, like wriggling maggots, tried to burrow into Sean's body.

A thought Obscurus arose.

"My kind... is much weaker than me... may I try some?"

Sean's face twitched uncontrollably—why were all these Magical Creatures around him so fond of trying new things?

However, he didn't know that the Obscurus could devour each other.

Gormlaith noticed the twitching of Sean's face. She leaned closer, her dark face and deathly white eyes looking stiff and terrifying.

"Draco, this process will be a little painful, please bear with it for a moment—do you feel stiff all over right now? Don't worry, this is normal, it will be fine in a while..."

Sean remained completely unmoved, and even wanted to scratch his slightly itchy nose— Gormlaith was too close, and strands of her hair had gotten all over the tip of his nose.

Aside from some discomfort from being invaded by darkness, Sean didn't feel anything else amiss. His only concern now was that Gormlaith might have some way to quickly contact the Basilisk, so he needed to control her as soon as possible.

Most of the black particles seeped into Sean's body, and even with his resistance, Sean felt a slight pain. However, this also proved that the opponent had released most of its power, enough for the thing inside him to have its fill.

That's about it...

Sean 'struggled' to turn his head, then looked behind Gormlaith, his eyes widening in disbelief.

"Slytherin..."

Gormlaith had no idea that the little wizard in front of her was completely uncontrolled; she turned her head away in fear and surprise.

"Ancestor?!"

The washroom was empty.

"Acupunct Internus"

Sean calmly and quickly cast a silent needle -Stinging Hex.

A deep, bone-chilling pain struck Gormlaith, causing her dark body to tremble and the black particles surrounding her to shake due to instability.

Since her death centuries ago—no, even in her lifetime— Gormlaith had never experienced such intense pain. Before she could even ponder why this descendant of the Malfoy Family still possessed the ability to act, a piercing scream echoed throughout the bathroom.

Almost instantly, with her lowered eyes, she vaguely saw a bluish-green Thorn Sheath roll beneath her.

"Ugh—" A piercing and violent reptilian scream pierced her eardrums. The Thorn Sheath suddenly opened, and a terrifying Swooping Evil with drool still hanging from its mouth appeared beneath her.

Without any hesitation, Dave used the sharp claws at the tip of its wings to pierce Gormlaith's shoulders, and its terrifying jaws snapped shut on her throat.

Gormlaith was, after all, only transformed from Obscurus, so the tricks that would instantly kill an ordinary wizard had limited effect on her. Under the intense pain in her soul and body, she finally regained a bit of her sanity.

Gormlaith activated the dark power, unsure why it had no effect on Malfoy; all she wanted now was to protect herself.

However, she was horrified to discover that the power bestowed upon her by Lord Slytherin was no longer under her control—no! It was that power being directly bound and devoured by another enormous source of magic!

The excruciating pain in both her soul and body continued, and in her terror, Gormlaith had no choice but to abandon that power. Her dark body writhed, and she was about to transform into a ghost.

"Nihilo Intuor"

All of this happened in an instant. Sean, who was already prepared, immediately cast a spell on himself. The Nihilo Intuor took effect quickly. He could feel his eyes becoming heavy, and the magic within his body flowed to the area around his eye sockets.

He looked up and saw that Gormlaith's originally jet-black body had begun to turn translucent.

Sean gave the other person no chance to react; he focused his attention and stared intently into their eyes.

Gormlaith had just transformed into her ghost form and instinctively wanted to escape, but before she could even think of floating, she felt her ethereal body suddenly become as heavy as a stone block.

She was frozen in place.

Who is this person?! They can even control ghosts?! This can't possibly be a second-year wizard!

Even a chance to question Sean wasn't an option for Sean. He raised his wand once more as Gormlaith froze.

"Acupunct Internus"

Gormlaith's translucent face showed an even more painful expression, her chapped skin almost completely breaking apart.

"Acupunct Internus"

"Acupunct Internus"

"Acupunct Internus"

Sean was worried that this wasn't enough, so he threw three more Stinging Hex at him.

At higher levels, the Stinging Hex is essentially a smaller version of the Cruciatus Curse. Sean wasn't willing to risk absorbing negative emotions to cast the Unforgivable Curse —so he decided to cast more Stinging Hex instead.

Quantitative change leads to qualitative change.

Whether it was due to Sean's high spell level or the ghost's low magic resistance after being frozen, after a few Stinging Hex, Gormlaith's translucent body gradually turned pale white. Her condition became increasingly unstable, and translucent black powder kept floating up from the wound in her heart before disappearing into the air.

Sean finally put away his wand and looked at Gormlaith, whose eyes had rolled back and she had completely lost consciousness.

"So ghosts can faint too, and they're so weak..." Sean muttered.
