A Simple Plan
Hugo gave a brief explanation of the French Wizarding Rights Protection Association, Savannah brought the news, nodded and continued, "I don't know the inside story, but I understand after listening to Hugo. Fabian Aiken has considerable influence among students in Newmontgard because of his family background, and I've been observing some signs of this since last year."
"Signs?"
"The atmosphere at the school is getting increasingly off," Savannah frowned. She glanced at the three Hogwarts and carefully considered her words. "You're from Hogwarts, but you should know a little about our school. Newmontgard worship strength, and we value results more than process, as well as our own interests. This leads to a very competitive atmosphere at the school, and students rarely cooperate with each other."
Sean, Hermione, Daisy all nodded in unison. The atmosphere of the two schools was completely different, a fact they had felt deeply during this time.
Savannah continued, "In the face of competition, our concept of companionship becomes rather vague. The higher the grade, the more students prefer to be lone wolves. To be honest, it's not a big problem once you get used to this atmosphere. Facing problems alone makes us more capable."
Sean didn't quite agree with this. While the individual abilities of Newmontgard students were indeed outstanding, in many cases, cooperation based on mutual trust would make problems easier to solve. Having a few friends who could encourage each other would also allow them to correct each other's mistakes and make progress together in their studies.
For example, him and Hermione. Hermione's current strength is definitely more outstanding than that of the girl in the original Timeline.
Sean also received a lot of help, whether it was practicing spells with Hermione, discussing magical knowledge, or even having a History of Magic assignment to copy... no, to borrow from.
Although Sean's ideas differed from Savannah's, he did not refute them, but simply listened quietly to what she had to say next.
"In this atmosphere, although Newmontgard people rarely have close friends, there is one advantage—after graduation, as long as you pay enough, you can find many former alumni to help you. This kind of money-for-goods relationship may be unfamiliar, but it will not burden you with emotional baggage."
As Ian Teach fiddled with his cards, he said noncommittally, "Indeed, there is no burden—so it's not uncommon to be betrayed by former classmates in many collaborative projects, and similarly, the betrayer has no burden at all."
As he said this, Ian's eyes became unusually calm, but they were filled with anger.
It seems that the other person or their family members have experienced something similar.
"Everything has risks, and one's own level of trust is something that Newmontgard students need to cultivate after graduation." Savannah's expression remained unchanged.
"Tch—" Second-year student Ian hadn't quite learned how to hide his true feelings yet.
Savannah ignored him and continued to the others, "This is the ecosystem of Newmontgard. The graduates have formed a circle all over the world. They have various kinds of influence in all walks of life. You pay them, and they will help you."
"However, the atmosphere has changed somewhat in recent years."
"How so?" Sean asked.
"Differentiation—" Savannah uttered a single word. "In the original environment, no matter what year you were a student in Newmontgard or how long you had been a wizard since graduation, no matter whether you came from the Wizarding Family or Muggle Family, no one cared about your nationality or region. In fact, even if you were a dwarf Half-blood, Giant Half-blood, or Veela Half-blood, all personal differences would not become bargaining chips on the trading table."
"Newmontgard, everyone is equal, you reap what you sow."
Hugo chimed in, "This is something Professor Grindelwald has always advocated: wizards are wizards, and our nobility is reserved for other species."
"That's right. Back then, if a Muggle-born wizard and a Pure-blood Wizard wanted to get a Potions from another person, they would have to pay the same amount of Galleon or other items of equal value. But things are different now." Savannah's expression was slightly serious.
"Class distinctions are slowly emerging again..." Sean murmured.
Savannah glanced at him. "That's right, but the word I used just now was differentiation—"
"Is someone doing this on purpose?"
"Yes, the environment of Newmontgard has gradually formed since the school was founded, and with Professor Grindelwald above us, this class difference should not have come so early—unless someone deliberately created division."
Savannah seemed quite aware of the situation, and she had done a considerable amount of research herself.
"My family has a related business. In recent years, wizards from the Muggle Family have been paying higher and higher fees to get certain assistance, while Pure-blood Wizard have not."
Hermione asked doubtfully, "But isn't this situation easy to detect? You just said that trust needs to be cultivated."
"Therefore, some people have started to secretly win over Pure-blood and Half-blood Wizard. As beneficiaries, they are naturally happy to hide some things from the Muggle-born wizard."
"But not all wizards who sell things or offer help are Pure-blood, are they?"
Sean picked up on Hermione's question and said, "Then we'll bribe them. Wizards from the Muggle Family are still wizards. We and Pure-blood Wizard are essentially the same race. Differences in bloodline don't lead to any sense of racial betrayal."
"That's right..." Savannah nodded. "The situation in the school has also changed due to the changes in the outside world. Those Pure-blood Wizard, such as Fabian Aiken, have begun to win people's hearts and build their power. In the clubs and gatherings with the most members in Newmontgard now, none of the organizations are led by wizards from the Muggle Family. Whenever there is a sign of power rising, the biggest powers will unite to suppress it."
Bloodlineism has resurfaced in Newmontgard... Sean frowned in thought.
Although the concept of bloodline has never disappeared, under Grindelwald's influence, at least in Newmontgard, no one dares to call someone a Mudblood in public, and the rights of wizards born into the Muggle Family have been effectively improved because of Grindelwald.
Now, some people are preparing to turn back the clock of history...
Sean suddenly had a flash of insight, which is why Grindelwald suddenly granted him the qualification to start Magic Club and even sent Hugo and Savannah, Newmontgard students who knew the inside story.
He also knew that Fabian Aiken would definitely target him...
So, Grindelwald knew what these guys were up to right under his nose. Whether it was because he was restricted from acting or because they wanted to train me, the matter ended up falling on my shoulders...
It's unrealistic for me to go and cause trouble with the French Wizarding Rights Protection Association, so my task should be to resolve the class divisions within this castle...
Or to put it simply, deal with Fabian Aiken, and then quell the trouble that follows...
Having figured out what was going on, Sean helplessly rubbed his cheek. He was supposed to be a Hogwarts student, so why was he responsible for the ecological health of Newmontgard...?
However, it still has to be done...
First, Fabian Aiken has seriously hampered the Golden Dawn Magic Club's recruitment of new members; second, that guy also harmed the Weasley brothers, and he promised the twins he would help them get revenge; finally, Sean himself comes from a family without magic, and discussing this matter will also affect his future life.
Whether it's for his own benefit or a promise to others, Sean can't stand idly by.
Having figured this out, Sean immediately stopped worrying about the trouble Grindelwald had caused him. Since he had already decided to do it, it was better to get started quickly.
However... Sean glanced at the four new members of the Golden Dawn.
The matter is quite important. Although these people were sent by Grindelwald, they cannot be completely trusted.
After thinking it over, Sean decided to take matters into his own hands first. There might be some minor troubles afterward, which he would then leave to these other people to handle.
That night, Sean lay on his bed in his dorm room and picked up a piece of parchment containing information that the Weasley twins had gathered.
Fabian Aiken, a mild case of mysophobia, is a perfectionist. During his breaks, he often goes to the hilltop herb garden on the east side of Newmontgard Castle. But because of his obsession with cleanliness, he would never fertilize or weed the plants himself; he prefers to stand at a distance and observe the beautiful, exotic flowers.
He possesses exceptional personal strength, belonging to the top tier of Newmontgard. Moreover, he is a wealthy second-generation Wizarding World, always carrying Magical Item made by alchemists, which can effectively defend against Stunning Spell and Hypnosis Charm, and antidotes and other Potions are also readily available.
The other party also kept an expensive Kneazle, which is a creature that pays special attention to suspicious and untrustworthy people and then sends an alert to its owner. Aiken took it with him most of the time.
Moreover, this guy rarely acts alone; he always has a follower Trevor Terrell with him. Trevor's Defensive Spell are excellent, and his bloodline is special, seemingly giving him a certain degree of resistance to curses and hypnosis.
After reading the news, Sean frowned, feeling a bit of a toothache.
These exceptionally talented second-generation demons are not easy to deal with...
His original plan was to take advantage of the other party being alone, and use the Disillusionment Charm Pudding become invisible on a path that Aiken would inevitably take, and then hypnotize the other party when he was not paying attention.
After being hypnotized Sean could easily mold Aiken into a round shape.
However, it seems that the plan is too crude at present. Sean cannot mobilize all his Magical Creatures and then transform them into Fire Dragon to directly defeat the other side. That would cause too much of a commotion, and the external forces behind the other side would not let him off easily.
Sean. To bring the other party back without anyone noticing, he would need to launch a sneak attack.
As for the Kneazle, you don't need to worry about it since you have Magical Creature Affinity, but you can't bring other people or animals with you, or you'll be discovered. You also need to consider the opponent's activated Magical Defense Item and that humanoid defense item named Trevor.
But he had a great advantage. After all, Sean was in the shadows, and even if Aiken was on guard, he couldn't be on alert all the time.
The best opportunity would be when he's alone and has removed his Magical Item, for example, while he's taking a bath...
A simple plan came to Sean's mind.
"Hmm, it shouldn't be too difficult... but first I need to figure out how to shift the blame..."
The make-up classes announced by Grindelwald had been implemented, and by Sunday afternoon, the students of Newmontgard finally had a half-day break.
Fabian Aiken smiled and politely said goodbye to the classroom, but as he and another tall, burly boy walked out of the castle, that smile turned arrogant and annoying.
"Fabian, is it really necessary to be so polite all the time?" said the boy next to him.
"That's just the surface image," Aiken straightened his collar, frowning as he brushed a speck of dust from his shoulder. "The professors certainly know how arrogant I am in private, and they understand my abilities, but I still treat them with respect and humility in public, which usually leaves a good impression. And what about the ordinary students? As long as you have the ability and the power, you don't need to worry too much about their opinions. That's what my peers do—"
Trevor shrugged. "Rich people have so many thoughts."
Aiken's lips curled up slightly. "Trevor, after graduation you will become an honorary member of our Aiken Family. What I have, you will have too."
Upon hearing this, the big man Trevor finally smiled.
"I'm going to have some fun with Knockturn Alley and those Pink Witch then—"
"You have some ambition, don't you, Trevor?" Aiken said casually.
The two walked one after the other toward the east side of the castle. Aiken stroked the smooth fur of the Kneazle in his arms and said casually, "How's that Golden Dawn doing?"
"Apart from the four-man group that lost to him that day, no one else went. You've already given the order and even sent out Fire Dragon's information, so there's no need for them to risk offending you."
"Those four people..." Aiken squinted. "Barbarossa and Delansal are both somewhat capable, the Minks family are all brokers, she'll eventually side with me, and the last one, that second-grade boy, I've never even heard of him..."
"However, I also need to find an opportunity to talk to them," he said, scoffing. "A Mudblood from Hogwarts actually dares to take the honor bestowed upon him by Mr. Grindelwald as a reward? He doesn't know his place..."
Trevor joined in with a few laughs, and the two walked to the herb garden at the top of the mountain.
After bypassing the main greenhouse, Aiken arrived at another, slightly smaller greenhouse.
He pushed open the door, wearing gloves, and then frowned immediately.
A hooded wizard was already inside.
"Don't you know this is a place I frequent? — Never mind, Trevor, just give him a Galleon to get rid of him."
Trevor nodded and went up to exchange a few words. The fifth-year student from Newmontgard had just rolled up his sleeves and was adding soil to a pot of Tree-Nymph Herb.
Looking at the other person's hands covered in mud, Aiken unconsciously frowned.
"Vulgar... Even the tattoos are disgusting..."
He noticed a strange mark on the other person's arm, a python coiled out of the skull's mouth.
