The Giant Rises from Hell
Sean originally thought that Grindelwald and Dumbledore fighting was bad enough, but reality told him that things were always going to get worse in the next second.
Voldemort had clearly used the same method he had used to parasitize Quirrell to possess the wizard in front of him. Sean didn't know how the wizard had learned about tonight's events and infiltrated the group; he hadn't even received any notification from the Death Eaters.
In other words, Voldemort infiltrated again alone, taking a huge risk, and now, it's probably time to reap the rewards.
"This madman... "Sean gritted his teeth, gripped his wand tightly, and recited the spell without any hesitation.
"Avada Kedavra!"
A blinding green light shot through the flames and disappeared!
Voldemort struck the air with an unidentified wand, deflecting the green light to the other side.
Amidst the explosion, the young wizard's face was contorted, his features squeezed to one side revealing an expression of extreme pain, while on the other side lay Voldemort's crazed and ruthless face.
"For a second-year student, that's a pretty good Killing Curse," Voldemort's voice mingled with another person's, "So that proves you really want to kill me?"
"Get out of my way, Voldemort!" Sean swung his wand violently.
"Voldemort? Aren't you going to call me Professor Riddle?" His eyes bulged out of their sockets. "These two old geezers really trust you enough to tell you everything?"
The green light shifted, and the explosion kicked up a shower of mud.
Voldemort paid no heed to the scorched earth falling from the sky; he laughed maniacally and quickened his pace toward Grindelwald.
"Wallerup!" He swallowed his laughter, his face twisted with malice. "The Killing Curse you used came from me! No, I should say you are far more evil than me—ha!"
He stepped outside the transparent barrier set up by Dumbledore, his voice growing increasingly manic. "But let's enjoy the main course first."
Grindelwald remained sprawled on the ground, lazily raising a middle finger and waving it. "Good evening, Tom... um, I still haven't settled your salary from last year for a month."
Voldemort licked his lips excitedly, gripping his wand tightly with one hand to deflect Sean's Killing Curse, while reaching straight for the barrier with the other.
"Sizzle—" The sound of flesh turning into charcoal assaulted Sean's eardrums.
Voldemort's outstretched hand was blocked by the barrier, but he did not retract it; he simply and forcefully pushed his hand into the barrier.
Clearly, forcibly breaking through the barrier caused him immense pain; his distorted face became increasingly ferocious and terrifying, with both faces squeezed together on one side gaping open in agony.
However, the hand still slowly reached in, and the left finger bones, sparking and just white bone, broke through the barrier!
"Ha—good evening, Mr. Grindelwald." Voldemort pressed his head against the barrier, not caring at all that his face was burning hot.
"Voldemort, what do you want? Your wand, your Residual Soul? I can give you anything," Sean said, trying to remain as calm as possible.
"Hush, Sean," Voldemort's face was half burned off, and he looked at Sean with his bloodshot eyes, "What a clever man, trying to stall for time when he can't defeat me— Dumbledore indeed powerful, and it would be difficult for me to defeat that old geezer in this state. Ha, so I've decided to accomplish my goal before he returns."
"Do you think I'm crazy? Hahahaha, I'm perfectly lucid, as lucid as I can be." Voldemort laughed painfully and maniacally, his entire left hand had turned into bone and was completely inside the barrier.
"Where were we? Mr. Principal—oh right, my salary."
"Stop!" Sean's eyes widened in fury.
Voldemort laughed and clenched his skeletal hand. Grindelwald, trapped within the barrier, seemed to be gripped by an invisible hand, his frail body lifted into the air.
The sound of bones twisting was clearly audible, Sean could see Grindelwald's body being squeezed.
"A little slow? But that's fine, let the pain last a little longer, ha—that's what I enjoy." Voldemort went completely mad.
Grindelwald remained silent as his face was turned, revealing a mocking glint in his pale blue eyes, which were weak but calm.
"I like that look." Voldemort stuck out his long, forked tongue, staring at the squeezed Grindelwald inside, then rolled his eyes back in a mixture of excitement and pain.
Bloodshot veins filled his pale white pupils, and his tongue licked the barrier, igniting a plume of black smoke that mingled with the black mist emanating from Voldemort.
Black smoke shot straight into the sky, and a huge Dark Mark appeared in the sky, with green light forming text below it:
The Death Eaters will descend upon the land; the Dark Lord has returned.
"Idiot..." Blood spilled from Grindelwald's nostrils, and his bones creaked.
"Are you introducing yourself, Headmaster?" Voldemort asked with a sinister smile.
"I told you to let go..." A cold but extremely violent voice rang out.
Voldemort's skeletal half slowly turned, its protruding, white-rimmed eyes eerily returning to their original state, and then—
"Puff!"
One of his eyes exploded into bloody foam!
Only one last image remained in my mind, lingering in my dark eye sockets.
In Paris, residents, dressed in pajamas or even naked, screamed as they rushed out of the fire. They huddled shivering in the center of the fountain square, the water droplets splashing down behind them not feeling cold, because the Incendio in the sky.
The little girl, dressed in a princess-style nightgown, was tightly clutching her doll. She was unharmed, but her face showed a hint of panic and confusion as she nestled in her parents' arms.
"Dad! Mom!" came the cries of children of similar age.
"Come here! Be careful!" an adult called out to the residents who had just escaped the fire.
"God—God...no, no, this is the Lord punishing us! This is the Lord's will!" A believer knelt on the ground and prayed incessantly.
Of course, most people were looking at the sky, wondering what was there. The flames of the entire city were rising towards the very center, drawn together and gathered. Gradually, the flames on the ground disappeared, and a vortex of flames that covered the entire sky was slowly taking shape.
"Daddy, Mommy, is the sun going to fall down?" The little girl unconsciously gripped her doll tighter. The slightly charred doll made a tearing sound as the fabric ripped, the white wings on its back drooped down, and white stuffing was exposed under its armpits.
"No, no, it's just... it's just... it will pass, baby." The young couple hugged their child tightly, blocking the little girl's view from above.
The girl looked down in confusion and saw the 'injured' doll. Then she anxiously loosened her grip on her hands.
She put the doll down, and it stood crookedly on the ground.
"I'm sorry, I hurt you, Michael," the girl apologized to her doll in a childish voice.
This was a birthday gift from her parents—a beautiful doll with wings on its back. She also gave her friend a nice name.
The doll stood crookedly, and the little girl reached out, trying to stuff the white stuffing that her friend was showing.
Then, her gaze passed through the dolls and she saw the eastern part of the city illuminated by flames.
A terrifying Giant, taller than the Eiffel Tower and dripping with lava, slowly stood up.
"Daddy, Mommy..." the little girl trembled.
"What is that? What is that?!" The surrounding residents also saw Giant standing up to the east.
"It... it stood up!"
"That's a demon, a demon that crawled out of hell!"
The crowd, which had finally calmed down a little, exploded completely. Terrified screams and shrill cries echoed through the night sky through the swirling flames.
In the center of Fürstenberg Square, beside a small fountain, tree roots rise from the ground, their branches forming an elevator from which wizards in charred robes emerge continuously.
Wizards dressed in Auror uniforms from the French Ministry of Magic are giving instructions.
"The injured go first! Can you Apparition? Take this person with you."
"Fifth Squad, go to Sector 5 and see if there are any injured Muggle. Rescue them!"
"Sixth Squad, to the city center... What? You're asking if I need to disguise myself?! You idiot, are you going to swallow the flames on your head?!"
"Seventh Squad, support the west side of the city... Should we support the sky? Has your brain been licked by Troll? That's Dumbledore's business!"
"Eighth Squad, you..."
One of the team members grabbed the Head of the Auror Office, who was issuing orders. "Director! Director!"
"What are you doing! I swear, if you hadn't told me the Eiffel Tower was going to collapse, I would have shoved your head down the toilet..." The irritable middle-aged wizard turned around and grabbed the teammate's collar.
Then, he tilted his head back almost to its highest point, and the clothes in his hands slowly slipped off, collapsing to the ground along with him.
It was a towering Fire Giant, as tall as the Eiffel Tower, surrounded by almost tangible dark power. Even from such a distance, everyone present felt an instinctive fear from the bottom of their hearts.
"Merlin's beard..." the Head of the Auror Office muttered as he collapsed to the ground, "Paris ... is finished..."
Père Lachaise Cemetery, now reduced to scorched earth, has its ground completely transformed into lava, and towering Giant have risen to their feet.
Lava dripped onto Voldemort's side, his only remaining eye bulged out menacingly, and a twisted, terrifying smile of extreme excitement suddenly appeared on his face.
"Wallerup, this is your... talent..."
He flung Grindelwald from his hand, and the wand in his other hand slipped to the ground.
The hands, made of bone and flesh, were raised high and then forcefully plunged into its own stomach.
A huge wound appeared in Voldemort's abdomen, and his internal organs fell out. Instead of a bloody mess, there was a large mouth filled with mist.
"Come on... come on..." He frantically pulled the wound on his abdomen open even wider.
The Giant Sean's bloodshot eyes looked down at the tiny figure on the ground. He reached out without emotion, scattering the floating Dark Mark, and his palm passed through the dissipating mist before firmly grasping the now inhuman Voldemort.
He saw the gaping maw on Voldemort's stomach, but by then Sean had completely lost his mind, his eyes filled with endless negative emotions.
"Roar—" He looked up at the sky and let out a terrifying roar that was completely unlike that of a human.
The ground shook violently, and even the swirling flames above Paris trembled.
The Giant Sean slowly lowered his head and stared directly at Voldemort, whose hands were no longer human-shaped.
At this point, Voldemort's excitement began to fade, and he even showed a look of confusion.
"Why... why isn't it working..."
As if he had figured it out, his only remaining eye bulged out horribly, and he opened his mouth wide as if screaming.
"This is not the Obscurus ...this is not the Obscurus! There's something else hidden inside you! You are guilty—" His voice was choked in his throat.
With a gentle effort, the Giant Sean crushed Voldemort into a lump of flesh.
Then, he raised his hand and opened his tongueless mouth, ready to swallow Voldemort whole.
"Sean!" The voice from below made the Giant Sean pause for a moment.
His massive head slowly descended, revealing Grindelwald lying on the ground, blood streaming from his nostrils. Grindelwald's face was blurred by blood, only his bright blue eyes held a hint of rage.
For the first time, the Giant Sean looked bewildered. He shook his head, staggered back a step, and the small hill behind him was dented by his footsteps.
"If you eat that filthy stuff, don't ever talk to me again." Grindelwald's voice was stern, yet reassuring.
Giant Sean shook his head painfully, and the redness in his left eye slowly faded.
He knelt down on the ground and covered his enormous eyes.
Sean finally regained some consciousness. He felt as if he were floating in lava, but he felt only warmth and no pain. In the distance, he seemed to hear a voice scolding him, which made him somewhat unhappy.
The magma surrounding him suddenly boiled, and negative emotions such as Pride, violence, and Greed eroded his consciousness, but he instinctively did not want to resist.
The Giant Sean slowly raised Voldemort's hand, about to put it into his mouth.
"Sean Wallerup! I told you to shut up!" The annoying voice came a little closer.
As Sean floated, he seemed to see a series of images, with the old man who was both his teacher and friend standing in front of him.
"Shh." He sealed his mouth with a spell.
"Shut up, Sean. Now it's my turn to explain." He instructed sternly but in detail.
"If you don't know how to flatter, then shut your mouth," he said with a childlike laugh.
"Shut up, I want to hear it from him myself." He stubbornly and weakly collapsed to the ground.
Sean was of normal build, suddenly opened his eyes. He saw the surrounding lava and himself floating in it. His remaining rationality returned to his consciousness.
"Am I being absorbed...? It feels like this is my true self..." he thought to himself, somewhat dazed.
"I can't break free... It's a strange feeling, like there are two consciousnesses of myself, and I can control them... But destruction is my true intention, and my real consciousness can't bypass my body's instincts... Think of a way, think of a way..." Sean tried his best to think with his remaining rationality.
