Feeling Sin

Sean felt himself trapped in a strange state, a half-dreaming, half-awake feeling, but deep down he still had a faint sense that he had to break free.

He couldn't contact Dave, and he couldn't even bring himself to slap himself—in his current state, only destructive commands could be fully executed.

"This can't go on... I need to find a way to motivate myself..."

Images kept flashing through my mind, then stopped a minute earlier.

"Oh—I guess I have to thank you again, Voldemort."

The kneeling Giant Sean released his hands from his eyes, revealing a black vortex swirling in the center of his blue eyes, with negative dark power surging wildly.

What he and Sin have in common is the Obscurus. Sean knows perfectly well that the Obscurus within him had been stripped away, and the stripped-away part resides within Sin.

And Obscurus will provide the body with power, this behavior is highly likely to be carried out.

Just as Sean had expected, the red eye paused for a moment, and then a red vortex began to spin at the very center of the eye.

This was probably the fastest time Sean had ever reached a consensus with Sin, and the dark forces became increasingly volatile.

"Thump!" Sean seemed to feel his heart skip a beat, and the trembling palpitation returned, but he did not panic. Instead, he became invigorated.

That being that poses a deadly threat to the Obscurus is still here!

The hand that Giant Sean had used to crush Voldemort suddenly trembled. It lowered its head slightly, and its two eyes, one blue and one red, stared at him without any emotion.

After a careless exertion, blood and flesh splattered from between his fingers, and then a large, translucent mouth without a physical form appeared above his fist.

The enormous mouth opened to its fullest extent, inside which an oily, black substance resembling Obscurus was spinning rapidly.

Even Sean, who was inside the body of the Sin, felt the powerful suction. His magic, life force, and energy remained unchanged, but the Obscurus to stir.

Just as a tornado is about to suck up a small boat, the mysterious connection between the Obscurus and Sean is being severed, and dark power is being continuously stripped from Sean's body.

Only then did Sean feel immense pain; he finally understood what Daisy had suffered that day Obscurus.

It felt as if a piece of his brain was being ripped out; the intense pain caused Sean's limbs to contort in agony.

Externally, the Giant Sean suffered the same fate, his Obscurus, unique to Sin, being stripped away. Terrifying vortexes of blood flowed from the Giant's eyes; he was utterly powerless to resist!

With a deafening roar, the Giant collapsed to his knees, both his consciousnesses experiencing immense pain.

A red pillar thicker than Fire Dragon and a black line only as thick as a tree branch emerged from the two eyes, one red and one black, and then rushed straight into the vortex in the big mouth.

However, the difference eventually emerged: Big Mouth seemed to prefer greater power, and it clearly absorbed more of the red Obscurus's energy!

The more the Obscurus is stripped away, the greater the pain his consciousness suffers. Sean continues to endure excruciating pain, but his mind becomes increasingly clear.

"Hiss—! It works... The Obscurus just as I thought. It parasitizes the soul, and no matter how powerful the Sin, it will suffer when the Obscurus is removed! And that greedy guy below obviously wants to seize the more powerful force first..."

Sean struggled to think amidst his anguish, and he could even sense the power of Sin diminishing.

This is pain originating from the soul. Sin resides within me, and in order to avoid being controlled by me, it also needs to give birth to a soul and consciousness. This is its limitation... Therefore, the pain of being stripped away is unavoidable!

As Sean was thinking, he suddenly felt his consciousness become heavy, and his thoughts seemed to become more powerful.

Externally, the enormous mouth absorbed the last wisp of red mist into its vortex, which had now grown to the size of the Giant Sean's fist, emanating a chilling magical aura.

It opened its mouth even wider, preparing to absorb all the black mist as well. However, the process of its delightful grasping was suddenly interrupted, and the mist in the Giant Sean's blue eyes was completely drawn back.

After a fall, Sean shakily stood up, rubbing his throbbing head, and immediately gathered the power of the Obscurus.

"Sky Island ..." Sean was surprised to find that the moment the Obscurus was completely stripped from his body of Sin, he finally broke free and landed in his Soul World, which was Sky Island.

The Sky Island was sinking... Sean endured the excruciating pain as he stood up, and then saw the Wallop family villa in the center of the island. A significant portion of the massive estate was already outlined in red, and the villa's gates were wide open, with lava seeping from the ground and continuously flowing into the villa.

Although he didn't know exactly what was going on, Sean immediately had a sudden realization.

The villa may represent my very soul, Sin is seeping in and permeating me; this is one way it's absorbing me...

Having figured it out, Sean immediately rushed over to the iron gate. As soon as he got close, the lava seeping from the ground overflowed with negative emotions.

"There are benefits to pain..." Sean, whose head was still throbbing, didn't expend much effort to suppress his murderous and violent emotions. He grabbed the iron door and slammed it shut.

As the gate closed, the Sky Island finally stopped sinking, and the magma that had been protruding from the ground quickly retracted like tentacles.

The Sky Island seemed to have cleared up, and that warm and comfortable atmosphere returned.

Sean breathed a sigh of relief. He was about to collapse to the ground when he suddenly remembered that big mouth.

"I almost forgot, there's another big problem..."

He closed his eyes, but when he opened them again, he suddenly realized that something was wrong.

Instead of Grindelwald lying inside the transparent barrier, he saw dark clouds and dazzling firelight in the distance.

"How did my field of vision become so wide and high..." Sean was a little dazed, his head still twitching.

His right hand was still sticky... He slowly lowered his head and opened his palm, revealing a sticky lump of meat paste inside.

Merlin's Iron Underpants... Sean was dumbfounded. He was now in his Giant form, which meant he was now the embodiment of Sin!

A sound came from below. Sean slowly looked down and saw two small insects, or more accurately, two wizards riding Flying Broomstick.

The two men seemed to have come to check the situation. When they saw the Giant's gaze approaching, they were so frightened that they almost fainted on their Flying Broomstick. The broom branches and their owners trembled together, and then they flew away desperately into the distance.

Before Sean could react, a power he was extremely familiar with surged forth, and a black, oily substance, like a thick, viscous net, enveloped the two of them.

It wasn't my power... Sean looked down and then discovered a huge mouth on his abdomen, from which black, oily substance was being emitted.

The two wizards let out only short screams before plummeting straight down with their malfunctioning Flying Broomstick.

A power stronger than the original Obscurial, what is this thing...? Sean's eyes narrowed, and then he found himself getting shorter and smaller!

The form of Sin couldn't hold on any longer... He looked down and saw the gaping maws of the two wizards who had instantly killed him turned to face him.

Almost instinctively, Sean shrunk as he raised his hand and slapped at the source.

With a twist of its large mouth, a torrent of black, oily substance rushed out!

However, Sean felt no resistance. Obscurus after the dark power that corroded creatures was strengthened, it had no offensive power at all—to be precise, it couldn't even stop him, even though Sean was already shrinking.

Sean's hand traced a path through the air, and a whistling sound like an overwhelming tidal wave echoed through the night sky.

"Pop—" He finally felt the force of the barrier, but only for a moment. It was like passing through a layer of cream; the sound of the foam bursting was barely audible, and his twisted, trembling mouth instantly vanished into nothingness.

This is the power of Sin ... Sean felt a chill run down his spine.

The rapidly diminishing power could shatter the Obscurus's dark power more easily than drinking water!

Sean's body was shrinking rapidly, and just as his right hand, which had smashed the giant mouth, was about to fall naturally, he noticed the transparent barrier on the ground.

Hey—since we're already here...

With a flick of his right palm, he briefly blocked Voldemort's defensive spell, which had nearly cost him half his life, before it vanished.

And Sean has finally regained his former figure!

"Huff... huff..." He raised his hands in shock, looking up, his chest heaving as he gasped for breath.

"Don't become obsessed with that power, child," Grindelwald said in a weak but stern voice.

Sean quickly turned around and ran over to help Grindelwald up.

Without any hesitation, he opened the ring and took out the healing potion, burn ointment, and Mind Purifier.

While Sean was pouring the healing medicine into Grindelwald's mouth without any regard for the cost, he was also applying burn ointment to him.

He also casually uncorked the bottle of Mind Purifier and took a sip himself—this stuff shouldn't be drunk more than a standard silver spoonful at a time, but Sean had just been almost absorbed by Sin and had been exposed to a lot of negative emotions, so taking a big sip now was about right.

Sure enough, the mouthful of Mind Purifier did not completely turn Sean into an emotionless state; his rage and murderous intent were calmed down.

"Cough cough...that's enough, Sean ...cough cough," Grindelwald said weakly, pushing away Sean's hand that was trying to force-feed him the medicine. "Are you going to write 'choked to death by healing potion' on my epitaph?"

Sean gave an awkward smile, observed Grindelwald's condition, and then breathed a sigh of relief.

"Looks like I won't die..." He plopped down on the ground.

Grindelwald said casually, "Of course I won't die, I still have work to do."

"Uh-huh?"

Grindelwald swayed as he stood up, looked at the ever-shrinking vortex of flames above Paris, and then gave a knowing smile.

"Time Rewind, oh, I feel young again."

Sean, panting, said, "Teacher, it's Ariana! Didn't you say those inhuman, ghostly things were coming back? If so, Professor Dumbledore might be restricted because of Ariana."

Grindelwald glanced at him casually, then pointed to his own face, where the blood had congealed into scabs, making him look utterly miserable.

"So all that suffering was for nothing?"

"No..."

"He'll tell me that himself. Ah..." He rubbed his ribs, the ones Voldemort had just broken. "I set up quite a few flames, but he should be done by now. I should go."

"Huh?" The aftereffects of the various stimulations and excruciating pains of the night were still lingering, and Sean's mind was not quite clear. He looked at the other person with a blank expression.

Grindelwald grinned wildly. "It's time for our Europe friends to remember me, the Dark Lord."

Sean paused, then slowly stood up. "Promise me you won't kill innocent people indiscriminately. Don't glare at me, I'm serious—and how am I supposed to contact you? By the way, what's that big mouth? How did Voldemort get it? Oh, and how did Voldemort suddenly lose his mind? Is he really dead now?"

Grindelwald waved his hand impatiently. "I don't even understand why that old geezer in the sky betrayed me. Do you really think I know everything? Handle the rest yourself. The Headmaster's Collection Room in Newmontgard is currently only open to you. The basement key I gave you before, if you turn it upside down, leads to the Vanishing Cabinet room— Grindelwald's disciple can't even handle this small matter, he might as well commit suicide. Albus will keep hunting me down. I can't beat him right now. I'll figure out how to contact him later. I'm leaving."

He pulled out his tree branch wand, Sean was surprised to find that the wand had not been damaged at all after such an impact.

Grindelwald waved his wand lazily, then turned around.

"Sean," he said with a pleased smile, "You did a good job tonight."

Space distorted, and Grindelwald vanished from his spot.

Sean opened his mouth, but in the end he couldn't say anything. He shook his head with a wry smile and sat down on the ground again.

What is going on... He looked helplessly at the sky.

At that moment, the flames in the Paris sky finally disappeared, and after a loud bang, Dumbledore appeared where Grindelwald had just vanished.

"Professor," Sean looked at him weakly, "the Sin has surfaced tonight..."

Dumbledore nodded, his voice soft. "I know, you did a good job."

"But I don't understand... are you guys acting? You should have been able to sense Voldemort breaking through the barrier."

Dumbledore only answered his last question, "If you can't even save the suffering of those around you, you can't save the world..."

Sean collapsed to the ground, utterly exhausted. "I hate riddle people..."

Late at night, in a grove of trees far from Père Lachaise Cemetery, a figure dressed in a black robe appeared gracefully.

The leader made a grasping motion in the void, and a scene flashed before his eyes.

Voldemort's translucent face struggled as Soul Fragment dissipated.

However, his face was full of manic laughter, and his mouth opened and closed, the shape of his lips was crystal clear.

"I am extremely grateful."
