Dementors' Submission
Dementor are one of the three known Non-Being in the Wizarding World, and also the most Non-Being of the three. Since their discovery in Azkaban, these creatures have been called the 'most vile thing' by many wizards.
Dementor are both a Non-Being entity and a dark creature. They feed on human emotions and are created because of human emotions. No one knows their true origin; all that is known is that these creatures cannot be truly destroyed.
Sean has always believed that the Ministry of Magic to appoint Dementor as guards of Azkaban was probably one of the most foolish decisions ever. These creatures have no sense of good or evil, no emotions, and no real loyalty. They will immediately turn against their masters if someone can provide them with more food—human happiness.
More importantly, these creatures do not understand the concept of innocence. They crave happiness and will not hesitate to use their soul-sucking Dementor's Kiss on the innocent.
"Damn it..." Sean cursed under his breath.
Before them, nearly ten Dementor had completely surrounded Buckbeak and Hermione, trapping the two of them in the flower field.
As soon as Sean got close, he immediately felt a bone-chilling cold, as if a bucket of ice water had been poured over his head and down to his heels.
In the flower-filled field, Hermione held Buckbeak tightly when Dementor suddenly appeared and surrounded her. She didn't know why these Azkaban guards were at Hogwarts, but even as she desperately explained to the sky that she was just a student, the Dementor still surrounded her.
The air grew cold and biting. Hermione tried to ride Buckbeak away, but because the Dementor were too close, the Hippogriff needed a running start to take off. Every time it was about to take off, a Dementor would block its path.
The icy chill prevented it from spreading its wings, and it knew that the human on its back would suffer a worse fate than itself. Unable to leave, Buckbeak could only stand anxiously in front of Hermione, digging at the hardened soil.
Hermione tried to send a signal spell for help, but the place was too remote.
The girl clung tightly to Buckbeak to combat the growing chill, but the Hippogriff's body heat offered her no warmth; she felt as if she were submerged in Scotland lake in December.
What's even more terrifying is that she feels like she'll never be happy again, and those wonderful memories of spending time with family and friends seem to be slowly slipping away from her.
The Dementor were getting closer and closer. Hermione looked down and hugged Buckbeak tightly, still clutching the two bunches of Evening Primrose in her hands.
The once vibrant petals were now covered in frost, and the bouquet was gradually withering and dying.
Hermione clutched the flowers in her hand and hugged Buckbeak tightly.
"Helios Oculus (Blazing Flame Ignition)!"
Just as she was in despair, a familiar voice rang out loudly from behind.
The chill was rapidly dissipating, and a terrifying heat that instantly made one's forehead sweat instantly enveloped this small world.
"Sean!" Hermione turned around in surprise as a golden fire Phoenix circled over.
"Sorry, I just wanted to help you relax." The fire phoenix soared into the sky, Sean quickly ran over from behind the flames.
He walked over to Hermione and opened the ring directly. "You and Buckbeak go in first."
As she spoke, the Occamy swam out of the ring and coiled around Hermione.
"And what about you?!" Hermione cried anxiously, hugging the Occamy's body.
"Me? What could possibly happen to me?" Sean said with a smile, trying to comfort Hermione. Then, before the anxious Hermione could speak, he pushed Buckbeak inside and closed the ring.
He stood up and looked up at the sky. Just now, he had borrowed most of the power of the Obscurus in an instant, and the Divine Fire Charm, which represented one of the peak powers of Ancient Spell, roared out.
However, his proficiency was too low, and the Ancient Spell could not truly Banishing Charm Dementor; only the Patronus Charm could do so.
Unfortunately, although Sean had taught himself, he could only emit a little silver light from the tip of his wand, which posed little threat to nearly ten Dementor.
At this moment, the fire Phoenix formed by the Divine Fire Charm was circling in the sky, using its scorching heat to stop the Dementor who were trying to feed. However, it only stopped them; the Dementor showed no intention of leaving.
They continued to circle around, waiting for the Divine Fire Charm to end so they could swarm forward, feast on happiness, and suck away souls.
"Disgusting stuff..." Sean frowned and cursed.
He was now ice-cold, his mind filled with despondency and depression. The joy of the past was gradually fading away. The Divine Fire Charm could help him fight off the cold on his body, but he could not remove the stagnation in his heart.
Dementor cannot be truly destroyed, but they are not only vulnerable to Patronus Charm. If your spells are powerful enough, Banishing Charm Dementor is not difficult.
Sean estimated that Grindelwald and Dumbledore could do this without needing the Patronus Charm at all.
He looked back at the shore he had come from, and before he knew it, several more Soul-Stealing Beasts had surrounded him, forming a complete encirclement. Outside the circle, the Grindylow in the Black Lake was anxiously neighing.
"Not easy to handle..." Sean frowned.
He used the Divine Fire Charm to clear a path and rushed over, but now he no longer has the magic to cast another Divine Fire Charm.
However, Sean was not flustered at this moment; he had already planned his escape route on the way here.
Putting aside the escape device he always kept, George Weasley's trick (purple): a one-time use item that guarantees escape from the scene of a prank.
Besides this safety net, he has other plans.
For example, when transformed into the Fire Dragon Animagus, a large part of the Dementor ' special abilities are designed to target humans. Against Magical Creatures, they often only have the effect of intimidation and obstruction. Just like the Grindylow outside the circle, the Dementor can only hinder its movements, and giving it a kiss is not an easy task.
Moreover, the Fire Dragon has ridiculously high magic resistance, which also provides defense against Dementor.
Or they could simply transform into Obscurus and charge out; being creatures of darkness themselves, none are darker Obscurus.
However, perhaps because it happened so suddenly, Sean was somewhat restless.
The Wizarding World is in turmoil, and the Dementor ' sudden visit was completely unexpected for Sean.
Mass prison breaks occur in various countries, but Sean, who knows a lot of big shots, received no warning beforehand, including the arrival of the Dementor — Barty Jr.. had taken control of his vengeful minister father, yet he was not informed of such a major event in time.
That suggests that Sean unexpected may have happened at the British Ministry of Magic.
It's better to rely on yourself than on others. Sean's current goal is to try to develop more abilities that he can control.
For example, the golden ability we obtained before.
Dark Sleeper (Gold): Within one hour of use, the user's attraction to and control over dark forces (including Dark Arts, Dark Arts creations, black Magical Creatures, etc.) will increase significantly, and the power of Dark Arts will also increase dramatically. Cooldown time is two hours.
Since acquiring the Dark Sleeper, Sean has only used it once, because he always had some doubts.
Both are golden ' Ancient One's Sigh ', but 'Darksleigh' has a cooldown of a full month, while 'Dark Sleeper' only has a cooldown of two hours.
Abilities associated with dark forces must be approached with caution; the effects of the Dark Sleeper are powerful, but the risks can also be enormous.
Sean suspected that frequent use of this power might amplify the power of Sin in another way, like Dark Arts, which is powerful but requires the caster to be malicious.
He worried that if he became addicted to the powerful effects of the Dark Sleeper, his mind would gradually gravitate towards Dark Arts, just like Riddle, who was already evil and whose soul was completely possessed by malice.
This is not the outcome Sean wanted.
If you are to use the Dark Sleeper, you must ensure that the current situation truly requires it, and that you always maintain your inner defenses.
Sean is now ready to give it a try.
Dementor, those bizarre and dark creatures, are the perfect subjects for testing.
Try it out and experience the immense attraction and control over dark creatures described in the skill description.
He took out the Mind Purifier Elixir that he had prepared beforehand, uncorked it, and then ended the Divine Fire Charm.
The intense heat that prevented the Dementor from dissipating caused them to swarm toward Sean, just as the sharks, smelling blood, immediately attacked.
Sean slowly opened his eyes.
The last time Black Sleeper was during the effects of Felix Felicis. He infiltrated his own Soul World, took advantage of the situation to deceive a Sin, and also subdued the Obscurus.
This was the first time he had used it in real life.
Sean's pale blue eyes seemed to be veiled by a layer of hazy mist, and the world before him seemed to have changed.
The whole world was eerily bright, as if he could see the underlying colors of everything.
Among them, the most striking is the deep, inky black.
That was the power of darkness, a realization dawned on Sean.
A dark mist emanates from the Black Lake, because it is inhabited by Magical Creatures imbued with malice. Hogwarts Castle is also surrounded by thick ink, which represents the malice in everyone's heart.
Sean looked down and saw that his left hand had turned into a hand made of ink, the bridge through which the Obscurus borrowed power, and the Obscurus represented the purest darkness.
Inside the right inner pocket was a black outline with a red core, and at the very center a pure white cocoon. Sean knew that was Dave. Dave was not a dark creature; the dark power outline on its body was probably something he had passed on to it.
The red core represents its violent and mutated nature, while the pure white center represents Dave's inner world. Yes, it has no malice towards Sean, nor any darkness in its heart—it only knows how to fight and eat.
In stark contrast to Dave's magical shape is not any other creature, but Sean.
Sean's heart was filled with an indelible mass of ink; just a glance at it stirred up a torrent of negative emotions within him, as if malice and dark forces were reveling in its power.
As expected... Sean didn't speak, but just stared coldly at his heart.
That is Sin, Sin residing within oneself.
He raised his head, completely clearing his mind of thoughts about Sin. Sean would not allow himself to establish any connection with Sin in this state; he would absolutely not give the other party any opportunity to take advantage of him.
Sean looked up at the sky. Around him, a dozen or so dark, decaying entities floated in mid-air—these were Dementor.
The effects of the Dark Sleeper have become apparent; Sean no longer feels unhappy, and the Dementor ' special abilities seem to have no effect on him.
Instead, there was absolute coldness and a restless malice; he could even feel that he now possessed an invincible dark power.
"Remember, I'm just conducting experiments, not here to destroy. I can't get lost in the power," Sean kept reminding himself.
He waved his wand, which was actually Grindelwald's Twig Wand, yet still retained the shape of Sean's Elm Wand, its tip trembling slightly before bursting into a brilliant light.
On the shore of Black Lake, the Grindylow, half-submerged in the water, suddenly trembled. It could clearly sense that the human it loved most on the shore had completely changed.
The terrifying feeling was something it had never experienced in its strange life, not even when it first encountered the giant snake at the bottom of the lake!
Immediately afterwards, the magic gushing from the tip of Sean's wand caused the Grindylow to dive directly into the water.
Its biological instincts were frantically warning it that it was the most dangerous thing!
"Avada Kedavra"
Sean's face remained expressionless, without any malicious distortion or overflowing killing intent. He simply raised his hand calmly and indifferently, and a terrifying green light struck the nearest Dementor at an unpredictable speed.
The Dementor had remained unmoved even before the Divine Fire Charm, began to twist violently in mid-air. Its tattered black robe suddenly contracted, transforming the entire Dementor into a distorted black mass, with various shapes of black matter constantly emerging and coalescing from its outline.
Although there was no scream, the Dementor was clearly in great distress.
Sean's eyes lit up slightly. Just as he had thought, when the power of a spell exceeded a certain limit, even Dementor that could only Banishing Charm the Patronus Charm would be harmed.
Although they will not be destroyed, as long as they can feel pain, the purpose of Sean's experiment will be achieved.
Then, something unexpected happened Sean: the other Dementor ignored the fate of their kind and continued to approach Sean.
However, this kind of approach is somewhat different from the eagerness one feels when eating.
Sean frowned slightly; he could see the dark shape representing the Dementor struggling to contract its power.
It wasn't eating, it wasn't attacking...
They are expressing submission...
Although it was unbelievable, Sean truly understood what the Dementor meant.
Even the Dementor struck by the Killing Curse, in its agonizing twisting, did not put up any resistance. Instead, it tried its best, with great effort and humility, to get closer to Sean.
On the shore of Black Lake, a dozen or so Dementor landed simultaneously, their flowing robes no longer swaying.
They removed their cloaks, revealing gray, scabbed faces, empty eye sockets, and large, shapeless holes in their mouths.
Then they all lowered their heads.
