The first thing Umbridge did upon returning from the hospital was to post the order on the bulletin board.

During her hospitalization, the Ministry of Magic sent high-ranking officials to visit her and also offered to help investigate the murderer. However, it's said that Umbridge almost jumped out of bed.

The person who poisoned her was eventually identified as a non-existent House-elves Val.

However, whether it was Umbridge who refused to give up or the Ministry of Magic who refused to give up, the Senior Undersecretary returned with new regulations.

A huge decree, large enough to cover the entire bulletin board.

Even the people who helped her paste the regulations were no longer Filch, but several new assistant investigators.

Upon hearing the news, Sean rushed over and met his 'acquaintance'.

His long, light brown hair cascaded over his shoulders like Lucius Malfoy's, and the magical video alone revealed its immense value. His face still held that brooding, proud air.

However, his Newmontgard uniform had been replaced with a crisp Guard Corps uniform.

Fabian Aiken.

He stood beside Umbridge, a hypocritical and arrogant smile on his slightly pale face.

Little Aiken immediately noticed Sean in the crowd. A flash of resentment crossed his eyes, but his face immediately lit up with the excitement of finding prey.

"Oh, Wallerup— " he stepped forward, "It's been a long time, my friend."

When you lack the ability, maintaining this hypocritical etiquette and feigned nonchalance makes you appear both powerless and foolish.

Sean had no intention of catching up with the other man. He just glanced at him casually and fanned the air around his nose with disdain. "Although I know you just want to maintain your image, I really can't suppress the churning in my stomach to cooperate with you—even if we're just friends on the surface, do you deserve it, Aiken?"

Little Aiken's lips curled into a slight smile, "What a pity, Wallerup, you're still the same as ever—"

Umbridge stepped forward and said, "Wallerup, watch your words, or I may put you in solitary confinement—Mr Aiken is a member of the Wizarding United Guard and has been sent to the British Ministry of Magic to assist me!"

Sean blinked. It seemed that Old Man Aiken had secured a good job for his son, and Umbridge probably knew something about Little Aiken's background, as she was noticeably more polite to him than to the other two assistant investigators.

Little Aiken politely patted Umbridge on the chest and said, "Thank you for the introduction, madam."

"What an outstanding young man! No wonder he's a top graduate of Newmontgard. He's much more likable than some of those greenhorns," Umbridge exclaimed, while also taking a sarcastic jab at Sean.

"Madam, you flatter me. Of course, as a pioneer, I am happy to cooperate with you to correct the erroneous ideas and actions of some immature children," Little Aiken replied with a smile.

Sean wasn't angry at all; it was just that the two of them were being a bit disgusting—mainly because they were so charming to Umbridge, that toad, Little Aiken was quite ruthless to himself...

Little Aiken then turned to Sean: "It's such a shame we can't be friends—oh, by the way, Wallerup, I'm now an Assistant Investigator, appointed by the British Ministry of Magic. From now on, when you see me, please call me—Sir."

Umbridge sneered and pointed to a sentence in the regulations, "Hogwarts students shall ensure respect for Ministry of Ministry of Magic staff."

Little Aiken smiled broadly, "Wallerup, call me 'sir,' and I'll recommend you to Mrs. Umbridge for the Special Operations Investigation Team —how about that? It's a good deal, isn't it?"

Sean's eyes narrowed.

Umbridge kept a close eye on him, and if Sean refused, she would immediately order him locked up and then use her own methods of torture.

Hermione, standing beside him, nervously tugged at the sleeve of Sean's robe.

"Thank you, sir, but I still have to focus on my studies. After all, I'm only in third grade." Sean didn't argue with him in public; he just smiled calmly.

Little Aiken showed an extremely surprised expression, and he exaggeratedly moved closer to Sean: "Sorry, I didn't hear you?"

"I said, thank you, sir," Sean whispered in his ear as he moved closer.

"Very good, Wallerup."

Little Aiken, like a pervert whose desires had been fulfilled, closed his eyes in utter enjoyment.

Sean's face gradually stiffened, and then he quickly left.

Little Aiken didn't try to cause him any more trouble, but just wore a playful smile.

The students gradually dispersed. Umbridge snorted and then said in a deliberately high-pitched, girlish voice, "Haughty Gaze brat, but Fabian, well done. I'm sure his face will only get uglier."

Little Aiken chuckled and said softly, "Madam, don't underestimate him. I've dealt with him far too many times. This Sean Wallerup is a master of disguise and likes to deliberately expose flaws to lure others into his trap. The expression he had after I provoked him was probably an act; his purpose was nothing more than to lower our guard and make us arrogant."

Umbridge, a mediocre fool, darkened her expression upon hearing Little Aiken's words. "That cunning Mudblood..."

"Don't be angry, madam," said Little Aiken calmly. "We are naturally in a superior position, and the Guard Corps sent me here to help you with your work."

"I hope you won't let me down, Fabian."

"Of course... By the way, when will those two students be discharged from the hospital?"

"It will be fine tomorrow."

"Then we can begin..." Little Aiken licked his lips. "I want to see just how fragile the so-called superficial unity is in a school where groups are naturally divided..."

On the other side, after Sean and Hermione rounded a corner and went up the stairs, Sean's stiff expression and posture disappeared instantly.

He was indeed putting on an act for the other person's benefit; after all, while being called "sir" might be unpleasant, it wouldn't hurt him.

What really bothered him was the Ministry of Magic's attitude.

The Wizarding United Guard has offices in various countries, but they only handle a portion of the work that originally belonged to the Auror.

The Ministry of Magic has jurisdiction over Hogwarts, and in principle, the Guard Corps should not be involved in such internal affairs.

Fabian's arrival was not a good sign. After losing contact with Barty Jr.., Sean knew too little about the Ministry of Magic.

We must find a way to learn more about the situation.

Hermione, who had been observing his expression, breathed a sigh of relief when she saw Sean return to normal and fall into thought as soon as he reached the empty staircase.

Hearing the voice, Sean turned around and asked with a smile, "What, did you think I was angry and not calm, and was already thinking about how to beat that kid up?"

Hermione wrinkled her nose. "Hmph, I knew you weren't that immature."

Hearing this, Sean chuckled, "Then I have to tell you, apart from being irrational, you guessed right."

Hermione was taken aback, but then added, "That idiot must have come prepared this time."

"Obviously, I didn't see his henchman. The fact that he dared to come means he has confidence. Actually, he was acting just now, putting on a show to humiliate me. Just think about it, someone who has been defeated by me so many times, no matter how stupid he is, should be able to get back up from the same place. I have to say, Little Aiken has a quality that is worth learning, he is quite resilient."

Hermione watched Sean speak eloquently, and suddenly her worries lessened considerably.

This guy, as expected, never underestimates his opponents.

Returning with her henchmen, Umbridge, backed by a mountain of regulations, began her high-pressure management.

Besides the underground Potions Classroom she ignored, a toad that kept hopping around in the castle appeared.

She constantly patrolled the corridors, and whenever a student passed by, she would reprimand them under the pretext of 'improving the school's atmosphere and appearance'.

Furthermore, with the help of the assistant investigators, even if the students from the Four Houses covered for each other, it wouldn't be very effective.

On her first day back, Umbridge caught several mischievous students. Despite Professor McGonagall's strong objections, she insisted on punishing them severely.

The students finally realized that something was wrong with their campus life.

The next day, something even more serious happened.

"Please be quiet, everyone—" Early in the morning, Umbridge rudely interrupted everyone's meal.

"The Ministry of Magic wants Hogwarts to have a fairer environment, not only in terms of education, but also in terms of being fair when dealing with students who break the rules."

She glanced at the crowd. "Mr. Osman and Mr. Jorison, please step forward."

Two fifth-grade boys stood up from the long table somewhat hesitantly.

Sean's brows furrowed.

Osman was from Slytherin, Jorison was from Gryffindor; the two fought before Umbridge arrived.

The incident stemmed from Osman's provocation and disrespect towards Jorison. Following the Muggle attack, Osman made discriminatory and malicious remarks about Jorison's Muggle family. Both men ended up in the Hospital Wing and have just returned home recovered today.

The matter was originally resolved. Osman provoked first, and was extremely rude. Jorison struck first, but not with a curse. The curse came when the two were enraged.

Professor McGonagall had already announced her assessment of the two men, stating that both were at fault, but Osman, who provoked the other first, received a heavier punishment.

The vast majority of students in the college approve of this approach.

Umbridge shook the parchment in his hand. "I have read the whole story, from beginning to end, but I think the punishment for the two of you should be changed—for the sake of fairness and justice."
