Attack! Attack!
"Sean, is that girl who came to say hello your junior from school?"
As the most congested city in the England, even before the 21st century, London often couldn't allow vehicles to move freely.
In the driver's seat, Mr. Wallop gripped the steering wheel, staring at the congested road ahead, and asked casually.
Mrs. Wallop, sitting in the passenger seat, also quietly pricked up one ear.
Sean shrugged as he explained the wizard toys to his sister Ayla.
"No, senior, she'll be in seventh grade when school starts."
"Hiss..." The Mr. and Mrs. Wallop gasped simultaneously.
It's not their fault. Stephanie is too petite. Sean has grown taller since starting school, but Stephanie seems to have stopped growing. She was half a head taller Sean when Sean in first grade, but now his head can touch her chin.
The Mr. and Mrs. Wallop exchanged a glance and saw surprise in the husband's (wife's) eyes.
"Oh, what a petite girl," Mr. Wallop said.
"Yes, and very beautiful. I've never seen a girl with long silver hair in real life—did she dye it? Sean?" Mrs. Wallop said.
Sean sighed. "No, that's her natural hair color. Besides, there are many wizards with strange hair colors—green, white, purple... all sorts of colors. Even if you don't have any, you can use magic to give yourself countless colors—but is it really necessary to ask about everything, Dad, Mom?"
Mr. Wallop shrugged. "Sean, your birthday is in November, so you're sixteen now—to be honest, your dad was already dating girls when he was sixteen... oh!"
Wallerup turned her husband's soft waist without expression.
"Hiss... hiss... darling, this is just an example..."
Sean immediately leaned over. "Mom, hurry up, I think Dad has a lot of ex-girlfriends he hasn't told you!"
"I've told you everything, I've told you everything... No, that's not what I meant... Hey, honey, let me explain..."
Having successfully shifted the firepower and target, Sean sat back down and stretched.
At the station, Stephanie didn't say much, simply greeted everyone and left politely, but the sudden appearance of the charming girl still caught the Mr. and Mrs. Wallop's attention.
Sean was too lazy to explain, so he let the couple have their own love-hate relationship.
Beside her, Ayla, who was securely fastened to her seat by the seatbelt, was playing with a flying pink elephant, a gift that Sean had customized for her.
Ayla rubbed the elephant's chubby ears, then suddenly raised her head and looked innocently at Sean.
"Sean, will that woman call you?"
"Um, I think so."
"May I answer it?"
Sean chuckled and ruffled Ayla's hair, "They called me, not you."
"But—" Ayla turned back to playing with the pink elephant, "I answered the phone when Hermione called you, and Hermione had a great chat."
"Forehead..."
After returning home, Sean first took a walk around his neighborhood to make sure that none of the Defensive Magic had been tampered with, and then greeted the wizards Lupin had sent to protect the Wallerup family.
"Sir, this... the salary you've given me is already very high." A young sorcerer with freckles on his face accepted the Potions from Sean somewhat embarrassedly.
Sean smiled and shook his head, "Compared to your work, this is nothing. My father is very grateful for your protection all this time; he went to great lengths to get this. But he always wants to pave the way for his son, so he asked me to do what I should do—haha, this shrewd businessman wants to make some preparations in advance so that I can meet a few powerful and virtuous wizards when I enter the Wizarding World in the future."
"Oh, please don't say that. Mr. Wallop is very generous and friendly, and we haven't done anything yet."
"My God, isn't this exactly what we all want? My biggest wish is to keep paying you guys but you don't have any work to do." Sean made an exaggerated expression and joked.
"Of course, of course—please rest assured, we will continue to protect it with all our might."
"Then I can leave it to you with peace of mind."
Sean followed suit, befriending each of the wizards who helped protect the Wallerup family, and of course, giving them all a lot of gifts.
Since the people were sent by Lupin, there was no need to worry about their trustworthiness. However, the employer's enthusiasm and generosity always made them more dedicated.
When it comes to the safety of his family, Sean doesn't care about any extra value; he only wants the highest level of protection.
After taking care of everything, Sean returned to the Wallop family villa. He lazily lay down on a sun lounger by the pool and closed his eyes.
It feels so good to be home...
After such a tumultuous year—no, two years—when Sean returned home, he finally felt a long-lost sense of complete relaxation.
Aside from his daily spell practice, Sean spent most of his time relaxing and having fun.
Despite the current tense situation and a host of mysteries and pressing issues, Sean should not let any opportunity to become stronger slip by.
However, sometimes, pulling a string too tight can backfire. At the same time, a good mood and a positive mindset are also very important for wizards.
After spending some time relaxing at home, either going out for leisurely strolls every day or playing with his younger sister Ayla, Sean was surprised to find that his Magic Power Source, which had been growing at an extremely slow rate, was expanding at an even faster pace.
In the past, Sean might have to cast dozens of spells in the Room of Requirement before he could feel even the slightest movement of the Magic Power Source, and it might take a full week before he could clearly feel the increase in the total amount of magic.
But now, Sean might suddenly feel a surge of magic power just after teaching Ayla to swim.
It's not magic power that comes from practice, but rather magic power that increases naturally.
Is there really such a benefit to eating, drinking, and having fun?
Sean scratched his head, immersing himself even more happily in the relaxed and joyful life.
One day, Sean was enjoying an iced drink after climbing out of the pool when the phone rang.
Ayla, the younger sister next to her, stuck out her little bottom and ran happily into the house.
"Coming, coming! I'll answer the phone!"
Sean watched his sister's figure with a smile, and didn't forget to remind her, "Run slowly, your feet are still wet, be careful not to fall."
The little one has recently become obsessed with talking to other people, even though most of those calls aren't made to her.
However, those who could call the Wallop family Wallop family knew the little princess, and they were all happy to chat with Ayla for a while. Of course, only two people could talk to Ayla for a long time: Hermione and Daisy.
Hermione, of course, needs no introduction. The Granger Family Dental Clinic is now a joint clinic with Wallerup Private Hospital, and the two families have a very close relationship. Hermione and Ayla have also known each other for a long time.
Daisy certainly had Sean's phone number. When she first called, she told Sean that she had asked Sirius to get her a landline, supposedly with Mr. Weasley's help.
The two girls usually called Sean to chat, but Ayla always answered first. The two girls seemed to get along better with the little guy than with Sean.
Stephanie, on the other hand, never made a single phone call after receiving Sean's welcome message at the station.
Sean assumed that the other party had not obtained any useful information. Moreover, Owl Communications was still under strict control, and Sean did not believe that such a communication method could be intercepted at any time, so he did not contact the other party.
Sean took a sip of his drink with relish and was about to close his eyes and rest for a while.
Based on his experience, people who call his parents usually call their own mobile phones, and even if they call home, the call will be transferred to his parents after a while.
If Daisy and Hermione were to do it, given my little sister's energy levels, it would probably take at least two hours...
Oh, swimming took a lot of effort today, so let's say one hour and fifty-nine minutes...
Half an hour later, Ayla's innocent and sweet voice rang out.
"Sean ~ Sean ~ is looking for you~"
"Hmm?" Sean sat up groggily and rubbed his eyes.
He glanced at his watch, then got up and walked into the house.
"You only chatted for this long today?"
Inside, Ayla stood on a small step, holding a huge microphone in both hands, and handed it to Sean when she saw him.
She exclaimed, "It's that beautiful older sister with silver hair... no, it's a beautiful older sister!"
Stephanie...
However, Ayla, you deliberately omitted a "big"...
Sean answered the phone, "Hello, Stephanie?"
"Hello, Sean."
Stephanie's voice didn't sound as calm as usual; it was a little stiff and polite, as if she wasn't used to this way of chatting.
"Long time no see, Stephanie. That was my sister Ayla. We spoil her a lot, so she might have said something without thinking. Sorry."
A deep breath came through the microphone, and then Stephanie returned to normal.
"No, Ayla is lovely. I had a great chat with her just now."
Sean looked to the side at his little sister, who was looking up at him expectantly. The little girl looked just like a customer service representative hoping for a good review.
"The pretty lady said she enjoyed chatting with you—"
"Yay!"
"Good riddance! You're not allowed to say such rude things anymore."
Ayla tilted her head in confusion. "But Stephanie is indeed very small."
Even though it's true, you can't just say it so bluntly in front of others...
Stephanie's voice came through the microphone. "Please don't blame Ayla. She's telling the truth. I've always known that I'm relatively petite compared to my peers."
Sean gave Ayla a warning look, signaling the little one to stop being so rude.
He turned around and casually said, "Because you're very cute."
Both people on the other end of the phone fell silent.
Sean regretted his words as soon as they left his mouth and wanted to slap himself. He had been spending more time with his old friends lately, and the tasks issued by the system had basically returned to the process of pleasing girls.
I just said it naturally...
"Um, I mean, you are indeed cute, but I don't mean you're cute because you're petite..." Sean tried to explain.
To everyone's surprise, a girl's soft voice came through the microphone.
"No, no, thank you..."
Before Sean could say anything more, the system's voice rang in his mind.
"Task: Increase the affection level of five girls for you, 10/10, Completed."
"20 points have been credited to your account."
Sean: "..."
Wow, I was just one task away from finishing, and I actually completed it today...
The other party was still Stephanie...
Feeling a sense of absurdity and embarrassment rising from nowhere, Sean could only chuckle awkwardly.
Ollivanders Wand Shop, the residence behind it.
In the small, cozy room, a girl with long silver hair, wearing a cool, casual tank top, was kneeling on the cold floor, tightly holding the receiver of a landline phone.
Scattered around her were numerous books, mostly documents about magical secrets and wizard manuscripts. However, occasionally, a book or two such as "The Key to Love," "Winning Over Men Is Another Kind of Magic," and "The Things a Witch Should Do" would be mixed in, indicating that they had been read several times.
A parchment lay open in front of Stephanie, its writing still damp.
"Ayla Wallerup: Eight years old, loves chatting, pink flying elephants, dessert Pudding..."
"Sean: Likes swimming (from Ayla), likes lemon iced drinks, three-tenths sugar, less ice (from the female voice on the other end of the phone, presumably the Wallop family's maid), likes Chinese food (from Ayla, the Wallerup family is going to a Chinese restaurant tonight, Ayla said Sean really liked it when they went last time...)..."
The parchment was covered with a lot of information, all about the Wallerup family. It recorded various hobbies and details of Wallerup lives, with the source of the information clearly marked in parentheses. Most of the information came from Ayla's oral accounts.
However, the last line started off a bit crooked and became a jumbled mess of wavy lines later on.
Stephanie clutched the microphone tightly, her chest heaving, a blush creeping onto her delicate face.
He... he...
He seemed to have just complimented me on how cute I was...
"Hello? Stephanie?"
When Sean's voice came through the receiver, the Silver-haired Girl took a deep breath, and her voice returned to its usual calm.
"Yes, I'm here. I accidentally knocked over a book earlier, so I just tidied it up."
"Oh, I see. By the way, what did you want to see me about?"
"I found some useful information from that day's story, and I also discovered a new story."
Sean immediately perked up. "Oh? How so?"
"It might be difficult to explain over the phone, and I'm more concerned about the security of this method of communication," Stephanie said calmly.
"That's right, you're in Diagon Alley ... But I've been having some trouble getting to Diagon Alley lately. They told me that you need a certificate from the Ministry of Magic to enter and Diagon Alley now."
Stephanie covered the microphone and took another deep breath.
She produced a piece of magical parchment bearing the Ministry of Magic's seal, which read "Permitted Entry".
"Yes, that's true. The Leaky Cauldron is very strict with checks, so it's not convenient for you to come here..."
"Should I come find you?"
