The Library Trio
The other party's intention was very clear: they wanted to openly and brutally beat up the students of Hogwarts.
Given Sean's understanding of Dumbledore, he would most likely agree to the proposal.
Sean actually felt it was somewhat necessary, as the practical combat skills of Hogwarts students definitely needed to be strengthened.
Moreover, Hogwarts has a very strict stratification system. Outstanding students can often far surpass their peers through talent and hard work, while the vast majority of students truly receive a purely "happy education".
However, these are things that Dumbledore should worry about; Sean is just a weak and innocent first-year wizard.
After thanking Professor Flitwick, Sean headed straight for the classroom.
However, just as he passed a suit of armor that was showing off the luster of the breastplate to a lady in an oil painting, Sean saw a figure around the corner. As always, she was carrying an old book, and a large black cloak almost completely covered her.
It's Stephanie.
But Sean's gaze didn't linger at all; he didn't even glance at the other person before taking a step forward.
Stephanie spoke, her voice still as cold and aloof as the weather outside the castle.
"Sean, the people of Newmontgard say they want to teach you a lesson sometime."
Sean didn't even turn his head, just waved his hand casually. "Thank you for reminding me, Miss Ollivander."
Stephanie didn't catch up with Sean as he hurried away. She just stared at his departing figure, her pupils suddenly turning from black to blue, lost in thought.
Sean didn't want to talk to the other person at all. He knew the people from Newmontgard would definitely cause him trouble later. Did he need to remind them?
Moreover, he had always found it strange that when they first met at the Ollivander cane shop, the other party was clearly very aloof, but then suddenly showed up at his door.
Was the so-called resistance just a facade? He hadn't thought much of it then, but now that he thought about it carefully, it became clear: the allure of the Veela bloodline only worked on the opposite sex, and Stephanie could easily find a female assistant.
Even though Grindelwald is currently treating him very well, Sean cannot tolerate Stephanie, who is approaching him at Grindelwald's behest.
Regardless of their purpose or methods, someone who approaches you with ulterior motives from the start cannot be considered a friend to Sean.
Sean quickly put the matter out of his mind. He had no classes this morning and had to go to the library to finish the Potions assignment Snape had given him.
He even writes five inches more than everyone else; what a petty old bat...
However, when he arrived at the library, a commotion broke out in the usually quiet building.
"You audacious fools, how dare you?! Get out of the library! Get out!" Madam Pince waved her wand and shouted at the group to leave.
It was the Gryffindor trio: Harry, Neville, and Ron. Behind them, several feather dusters, seemingly enchanted, were whipping their backs forcefully, while Madam Pince was also striking them repeatedly with her wand.
The three young wizards covered their heads, but were eventually whipped a few times by Madam Pince's wand before fleeing the library in a sorry state.
"Ouch, I bet Madam Pince's wand isn't made of wood! That really hurts..." Ron, who was lagging behind, rubbed his back, looking miserable.
"Hey guys, what's going on?" Sean went over and greeted the three of them.
"Hey, Sean," Harry greeted him, then smiled sheepishly, "We were looking something up and accidentally knocked over a bookshelf."
Tumbled over the bookshelf? Sean immediately lost all sympathy for the three men.
Last time, he accidentally spilled some ink on a book and was kicked out of the library by Madam Pince.
Tumbled over the bookshelf? Madam Pince was already being very lenient by not killing the three of them.
During the conversation, Sean learned that Harry and Ron, who never appeared in the library except for Neville, had come to find a wizard named Nicolas Flamel.
Are they eyeing the Philosopher's Stone again?
"Sean, have you ever heard of this person?" Harry asked expectantly, knowing that Sean was a regular at the library.
"Why are you investigating this person?" Sean didn't answer immediately, but asked the others instead.
The trio exchanged glances, then pulled Sean to a secluded corner where no one would pass by.
"Sean, do you remember the first time we met?" Harry pushed up his glasses.
Sean nodded. It was his first time in Diagon Alley, and he even met Sirius alive.
"Hagrid was actually in Diagon Alley that day, but you probably didn't see him."
"Isn't it normal for Hagrid to go to Diagon Alley?"
"Of course it's normal, but Sirius wasn't with us at first because he went to meet Hagrid. Last time, when he was drinking at my house, he accidentally mentioned that Hagrid went to retrieve something for Dumbledore!"
"The thing?" Sean asked, feigning confusion. Of course, he knew that what Hagrid had taken was the Philosopher's Stone, but now Voldemort was not only not physically destroyed, but was even teaching at Hogwarts.
He was curious about who Dumbledore wanted to hook with the Philosopher's Stone.
"Yes, something truly amazing!" Harry's expression was a mixture of excitement and anticipation, his emerald green eyes gleaming behind his glasses. "That thing might cure my sister's illness!"
Curing an illness? Sean frowned. Although he didn't know what illness Harry's sister had, he had the impression that the Philosopher's Stone could reshape the body.
Harry continued, "Unfortunately, Sirius was stopped by my dad when he tried to say more, so I was thinking of trying to find out some information from Hagrid."
"Then you heard the name Nicolas Flamel, and you thought maybe you could come to the library to look for some clues?"
Harry touched his neatly combed slicked-back hair and smiled sheepishly, "That's it."
Sean leaned against the stone wall, a chill running down his spine. He tightened his robes and said softly, "But if Professor Dumbledore could heal your sister with that magic potion, he would have done it long ago, you know, Harry."
Harry nodded. "Of course, Professor Dumbledore is a great man, so I was wondering if he hasn't fully figured it out yet?"
"That's hard to say..." Sean stroked his chin, glancing at Harry's excited face. "But what's the point of you looking for this, Harry? We're just little wizards."
"Perhaps Professor Dumbledore is just missing a direction. Maybe we can give him that direction!" Although Harry was somewhat insecure, his anxiety for his sister made him want to do everything he could.
Sean had also thought of this, and he smiled gently, "I do know who Nicolas Flamel is."
