Conflict
Sean pulled out his collection of Chocolate Frog Card, which he always carried with him. It was one of his hobbies, and the process of collecting them was always enjoyable.
He took out Dumbledore's card and handed it over.
Harry took it with a puzzled look, then widened his eyes and read aloud, "Remarkably successful in alchemy with his partner Nicolas Flamel..."
The trio exchanged a glance, then looked at Sean in unison. "What does this mean?"
"Don't you guys usually read books..." Sean slapped his forehead helplessly and explained, "Nicolas Flamel is the only known creator of the Philosopher's Stone."
As if remembering something, Neville clenched his fist and slammed it into the palm of his other hand. Then he lowered his voice and said, "I remember now. I heard my grandmother mention the Philosopher's Stone. Ancient alchemy involved the creation of the Philosopher's Stone, a magical substance with amazing powers. The Philosopher's Stone can turn any metal into pure gold and can also create Elixir of Life, making the person who drinks it never die."
"Flamel lent the Philosopher's Stone to Dumbledore?!" Ron exclaimed in a low voice. "That's the Philosopher's Stone!"
"Can the Philosopher's Stone help heal my sister?" Harry was clearly more concerned about his sister.
"I don't know about that, and besides, what Professor Dumbledore does is incomprehensible to others." Sean shrugged.
Harry nodded. "Professor Dumbledore's actions are always unpredictable."
He glanced regretfully in the direction of the library. "Madam Pince probably won't let us in for a while."
"Are you planning to look for information about the Philosopher's Stone?" Sean asked.
"Of course! Maybe I'll get lucky and actually come up with a direction that Dumbledore didn't think of!" Harry's eyes suddenly lit up again. "I can write to Sirius; he should have a lot of books at home!"
Harry and Sean, who did whatever came to mind, said goodbye and the trio quickly left.
Sean waved and then walked into the library.
Although he felt that no matter what Dumbledore wanted the Philosopher's Stone to do, a young wizard like Harry wouldn't be of much help, as the old man was far too wise, and there was even an old man no less capable than him to discuss things with.
However, although Harry's behavior was somewhat clumsy, his intentions were good, and Sean didn't need to dampen his enthusiasm. A person who is willing to think about family and friends is always likable.
In the Gryffindor Common Room, Harry had already pulled out a piece of parchment, ready to write a letter to Sirius.
"Hey guys, have you noticed something?" Neville sat on the edge of the bed, resting his chin on his hand with a puzzled look.
"What?"
"Professor Riddle is not acting normally."
Harry and Ron exchanged a glance, and the latter shrugged. "Is it normal for a teacher to teach us the Stinging Hex in class?"
"That's certainly not normal, but that's not what I'm talking about," Neville leaned closer to the two of them. "Haven't you noticed that Professor Riddle's goals are somewhat similar to ours?"
"Oh yeah, I almost forgot." Harry slapped his forehead.
The three of them overheard Nicolas Flamel's name when they went to find Hagrid.
They had originally intended to subtly obtain some information from Hagrid, but when they arrived at Hagrid's Hut, Hagrid was entertaining guests.
The three, who had no intention of eavesdropping, were surprised to discover that the guest was actually Professor Riddle from Newmontgard.
Hagrid and he seemed to be old acquaintances, but their relationship was just so-so. The curious trio eavesdropped on a short part of it.
"... Aragog is fine now... Tom, this is not something we should be talking about... That's Professor Dumbledore and Nicolas Flamel's business... I know nothing about it!"
This is what the trio overheard. It turns out that Hagrid and Riddle had some kind of argument, and fearing they would be discovered Harry and the others left Hagrid's Hut ahead of time.
The next day, they went to the library to try to find information about Flamel.
Ron remembered it clearly, but he was still a little confused. "You mean, Professor Riddle is also inquiring about the Philosopher's Stone?"
"Of course, Ron, think it over!" Harry said. "Hagrid knows Riddle, and don't forget Hagrid's age!"
Neville added from the side, "Don't forget what those Newmontgard students were saying? Riddle looks like he's in his early thirties, but he's actually over sixty."
"And the Philosopher's Stone has the power to grant immortality!" Harry continued.
Ron finally realized what was happening, his eyes widening. "Riddle has designs on the Philosopher's Stone?!"
"It's just a guess, but my gut feeling is usually right," Harry nodded. "Guys, we need to be careful."
Sean, busy with Potions homework in the library, was naturally unaware that Harry, Gryffindor, and their friends had missed telling him crucial information and had even made up so much from it. Otherwise, he would have exclaimed: Gryffindor's ability to cause trouble and their ability to make up stories are directly proportional!
The Academic Exchange program between Hogwarts and Newmontgard is still ongoing; however, in the eyes of many, the so-called "Academic Exchange" has become a provocation.
In recent days, students from both schools have been embroiled in various conflicts, large and small. However, after Sean and his men ambushed Hoffman, the students have become less likely to act alone.
After all, no one knows if some student from a rival school who doesn't like him will imitate Sean's behavior.
As the person involved, Sean received strong protection from his Hogwarts classmates, and this protection intensified as conflicts between the two sides continued to erupt. The Weasley twins even started following Sean to the washroom...
On a night off, the two sides had their first physical altercation.
Hoffman has recovered and returned to health.
The first person he came to was Sean, but Sean didn't even give him time to say anything harsh.
Blinded by rage, he actually dared to walk alone? Sean has always "admired" this kind of person.
After Hoffman's wand was removed, a large group of Hogwarts students rushed forward.
However, while they were punching and kicking Hoffman, the students of Newmontgard arrived.
They swarmed forward, crowding together with the Hogwarts students, and confronted them fiercely.
The conflict began with Hoffman's screams of pain. Someone had secretly kicked him, and Hoffman clutched his groin and howled in agony.
The Newmontgard were all ashen-faced. How dare they touch our people under these circumstances?
The student, retaining the last shred of reason, put down his wand. So many people using a spell together would have terrible consequences.
Then, the wizards from both sides ganged up on each other and started fighting.
