The Soul's World?
The black mist was even faster than the Golden Snitch. Sean only had time to make a dodging motion, but still couldn't avoid it.
The black mist rushed straight into Sean's eyes. Sean felt as if a Troll had breathed heavily on his face, and the strong smell of decay hit his head.
He felt a burning sensation in his eyes, and the black mist rushed into his body.
Grindelwald, who had been sitting and watching all this, slightly raised the corners of his mouth.
Dumbledore frowned, then immediately pulled Sean over, and with a wave of his wand, Nagini was pinned to the spot by the air.
"How are you, Sean?"
Sean stood there, his eyes gradually losing their luster.
"Grindelwald!" Dumbledore looked at the old man behind him with extremely angry eyes.
Grindelwald casually crossed his legs and chuckled. "Albus, I understand you've always been wary of me, whether in cooperation or otherwise. But you have to admit one thing..."
He stood up and walked over to Sean, whose eyes were vacant. "I won't harm this child."
"But that's just speculation! You're putting this child in danger right now!" Dumbledore unusually angry.
"Danger? Do Albus. I'd be a little worried if it were Riddle's complete soul." Grindelwald chuckled. "Albus, you just don't want to Prophecy down a path you don't want to."
"But none of us can make the choice for Sean," Dumbledore said curtly.
Grindelwald chuckled. "No, no, no, I don't think this will affect Sean's choice. It's just a small gift. Without it, Sean will still make the right choice. He's a decisive kid. Besides, don't you know how talented Sean is? When I see him, I'm even reminded of us when we were young."
Dumbledore's deep blue eyes widened in disgust. "Your methods disgust me."
"Please, my old friend," Grindelwald placed a hand on Sean's shoulder, "What is that? Just a filthy—weak—fragile Soul Fragment. We all know what Riddle is up to, but..."
Grindelwald licked his lips excitedly. "Our dear Tom has no idea what he's about to face..."
When Sean opened his eyes again, he was astonished to find himself in an extremely bright open space.
This place is like an island floating in the sky, surrounded by a clear blue expanse. And on this Sky Island stands a familiar villa— the Wallop family mansion.
"Where am I..." Sean instinctively reached for his wand to be on guard, but to his surprise, not only his wand, but also the Swooping Evil and Occamy he always carried with him were gone, and his wallet containing the miniature pistol had also disappeared.
He no longer wore a robe, but instead wore a comfortable solid-color T-shirt and sweatpants.
Sean reached out and looked at his hand. He clearly remembered that he had been invaded by a black mist just now, but now he did not feel any discomfort. On the contrary, he felt warm and comfortable all over.
"Is this... the world inside me?" Sean suddenly had a thought.
He remained vigilant and slowly walked towards the villa.
The large iron gate to the courtyard was ajar. Sean glanced inside twice, but there were no signs of biological activity or anything amiss. In fact, the closer he got, the stronger the feeling of safety, ease, and comfort Sean felt became.
He reached out and saw a mark on the door knocker, a mark from an accident when Sean was a child. He had knocked over a ladder, which hit Sean and left a deep mark on the newly installed door knocker.
However, the Mr. and Mrs. Wallop, who were terrified at the time, rushed Sean to the hospital. After the examination, they found that there was nothing wrong, and the mark was left intact.
In Mr. Wallop's words, "Just consider it a souvenir."
Sean smiled, pushed open the iron gate, and went inside.
He looked around and found no one in the villa, but there was a boiling hot pot in the dining room and Sean's favorite ingredients on the table.
"Isn't this something my parents bought for me after I asked for it when I was seven?" Sean was also familiar with this scene.
Without sensing anything amiss, Sean left the villa and walked towards the edge of the Sky Island.
The closer Sean got to the edge, the stranger his expression became. The edge of the island was paved with the dark black stone slabs that Sean liked, and there were even railings standing there.
The railing reached right up to Sean's chest, which was also Sean's favorite railing height, as he was slightly afraid of heights.
He poked his head out and looked down, then his eyes widened.
Crimson filled Sean's entire field of vision; the ground below the Sky Island was completely covered by lava.
"What is this..." Sean frowned deeply.
Unbeknownst to him, an uninvited guest was on the ground, out of his sight.
"What is he..." On a small piece of black rock in the lava, a person stood with an ugly expression.
That's Riddle.
His entire body was somewhat transparent, with blurred edges, and his face, set against a deep red background, would occasionally distort.
This wasn't the first time Riddle had done this, but in the past, the Soul World he invaded were mostly narrow and dark, and he didn't even need to expend much effort to control his master's soul.
Just like he did to Quirrell.
As he hesitated, the magma suddenly began to boil. The weakened Riddle instinctively took a step back, and then was horrified to discover that something seemed to be about to burst out of the magma in front of him.
He expended tremendous effort to transform himself into a wisp of black mist, and he tried to escape.
But just as he was flying into the air, the magma began to boil violently, and a huge figure stood up and blocked his way. It was Sean.
Riddle saw ' Sean's ' bloodshot eyes and trembled uncontrollably.
His eyes were filled with violence and murderous intent, and the overflowing violence caused the black mist that Riddle had transformed into to evaporate continuously, and he screamed in pain.
"Grindelwald! You—you did this on purpose! Ahhh—"
With just a glance, the black mist that Riddle had transformed into trembled violently before disappearing into the world with a 'pop'.
The enormous Sean slowly closed his eyes and sank back into the calming magma.
Sean, on the Sky Island, was completely unaware of what was happening. He walked around the island but found nothing else. At that moment, he was lying on a sun lounger in the villa, pondering how to get out.
Suddenly, everything went black, and when he opened his eyes, he found himself back in Dumbledore's office.
"Sean, how are you feeling?" He saw Dumbledore's concerned face.
"It's nothing..." Sean answered subconsciously, then realized that his mind seemed to have a lot more information.
