"What? You're Uchiha Madara? No, impossible. Uchiha Madara was from the same era as the First Hokage. You can't be him!"

Uchiha Shisui's face showed extreme shock.

Uchiha Madara was an ancestor of the Uchiha Clan, a figure from the same era as the First Hokage, and the only person of that era capable of rivaling the First Hokage.

But Uchiha Madara had died decades ago. How could the person before him possibly be Uchiha Madara?

But if this person was not Uchiha Madara, how could he possess the Mangekyō Sharingan?

"Of course he's old. He was from the same era as Hashirama and me."

Uchiha Obito "reminisced."

"Don't be so quick to refuse. Joining my organization will bring you nothing but benefits."

Uchiha Obito said.

"You are Konoha's enemy. I will never join an organization you created, even if you truly are an elder of my Uchiha Clan."

Uchiha Shisui's voice was resolute.

"Your eyesight has already begun to deteriorate, hasn't it? If this continues, your eyes will go permanently blind. Not even the best Medical Ninja will be able to treat you."

"Join my organization, and I have a way to prevent your eyes from going blind."

Uchiha Obito threw out the bait.

He believed that after experiencing the power of the Mangekyō Sharingan, Uchiha Shisui would never be willing to lose it.

Uchiha Shisui refused decisively.

If he betrayed Konoha and joined the other man merely to keep his eyes from going blind, how would he be any different from those shortsighted clansmen who cared only for the clan's interests?

He was a man of great conviction, someone who strove for Konoha's peace. His aspirations would not allow him to commit such a betrayal.

"Is that so? What a pity!"

Uchiha Obito's voice turned cold.

Uchiha Shisui's tone was firm, without the slightest hesitation. The possibility of bringing Uchiha Shisui into the organization was already slim.

"Since you refuse to join, then you and I are enemies!"

Seeing that Kotoamatsukami could do nothing against Uchiha Madara, Uchiha Shisui drew his Tachi and formed a hand seal with one hand.
