The commotion in the Great Hall was brief before it quickly subsided. After all, although Thomas's injuries looked frightening at first glance, he was able to get back up and play happily in the end.

They didn't witness a single student ascend and leave before their eyes; it was just that this student felt somewhat ashamed of himself.

There was only one person who was different from the usual calm. Snape looked at Harry, who was surrounded by his friends, and his brows furrowed frighteningly once again.

Then he headed straight for the Potions Department office, where he planned to wait for old man Slughorn.

His own curse had once again become popular at Hogwarts, and he didn't believe that old Deng knew nothing about it.

Back in his office, Kayson paid no attention to any of this and headed straight for the liquor cabinet.

Snape emerged from Slughorn's office with a dark expression.

According to reports, his spell has not yet spread throughout Hogwarts, and is currently only circulating in a small circle.

The bad news is that his curse may have originated from Harry Potter, and it's highly likely that one of his textbooks is in Harry's possession.

Considering Harry's Potions grades have plummeted this semester, and he even got a zero on his midterms recently, and Slughorn has practically been praising Harry like Potions god, Xia Fan, all the while...

It's highly likely that his own lesson is actually in Harry's hands.

Now that things have come to this, the most urgent task is... to stake out the location...

Late at night, Harry, wearing Invisibility Cloak and doing nothing with Ginny, slowly emerged from the portrait in the Gryffindor Tower. Before they could even take two steps after standing up, a hand suddenly grabbed the Invisibility Cloak from their heads.

"Wow wow wow... You two little wizards who are out at night, you're both so big now, haven't you explored enough of Hogwarts Castle yet?" Snape wasn't in the mood to use his elegant and witty remarks, which seemed to come from the deepest recesses of his mind, to attack Harry's brain, but he still couldn't shake the yin-yang nature ingrained in his bones as he spoke.

"Professor." Harry and Ginny both looked somewhat helpless, but they put on an expression that indicated they knew they were wrong but were unsure whether they would actually correct their mistakes.

After all, neither of them were first-class junior wizards anymore, and they had known Snape for so long that they knew each other well, especially Harry.

Snape may seem cruel and irritable on the surface, but does he think he can be eaten?

He's telling Snape right now! Points deducted? No!

Confinement, huh! Dumbledore has already schemed to keep me free until after 2030!

" Miss Weasley, you can go back now. I have some things to ask our famous Harry Potter," Snape said curtly.

Ginny frowned, clearly thinking it would be a waste to leave Harry here with the dog.

However, the latter gave her a reassuring look, allowing her to return with peace of mind. He was very experienced in outwitting Snape.

After a brief exchange of glances that lasted no more than three seconds, Ginny eventually returned to the lounge.

Harry also adjusted his mindset and prepared to face Snape's barrage of words and spittle.

"The spells you used in your duel today..." Snape said succinctly.

Harry frowned. He really hadn't expected Snape to come all this way to stake out the place and even let Ginny go while he stayed behind just to talk about this.

"Is there a problem? After all, if Professor Kayson hadn't controlled the spell Thomas used, it probably would have successfully and evenly roasted everyone in the Great Hall to medium-rare. My spell is just a regular 'cutting curse'," Harry shrugged, trying his best to appear innocent and equal.

"That's no ordinary guillotine curse. Theoretically, without a counter-curse, that curse could cause someone to bleed to death!" Snape said, circling around Harry to create a sense of oppression.

Harry was completely unfazed by this, and even felt a strong urge to laugh out loud.

But no.

"But at that time..."

"That's because that's Kayson! He has methods and skills that ordinary wizards don't have, but if Kayson doesn't come here, if no powerful wizard comes here, what awaits Thomas is a bloody death," Snape said coldly.

"I'm sorry, Professor," Harry said, feigning remorse.

"Where did you learn that spell?" Snape wasn't fooled by Harry, and the map of Yan was so short it couldn't be shorter, so he just went straight for it.

"... I saw that spell on an old, worn-out desk. I don't know who carved it on," Harry said, making up a reason on the spot.

"Do you think I'm an idiot, or do you think all the Hogwarts' House-elves are lung fog like Kreacher?" Snape scoffed.

"Then I don't know where else I can find out about this spell," Harry said, sounding rather resigned.

"I need to check... your textbooks, your Potions textbook, Defense Against the Dark Arts textbook, Charms textbook, and... Transfiguration textbook. Once the curfew is lifted, get all these textbooks to my office as fast as you can, into my hands, understand?" Snape said menacingly.

"Professor, what if my book gets lost?" Harry frowned, his expression suggesting a defiant intent.

"Then I'll say hello to Professor McGonagall, then go into your room and carefully scan every inch of it with magic. If you've lost your book, I'll help you find it! Now, hurry back to sleep, and Gryffindor, forty cents off!"

After Snape finished speaking, he turned and left, his large cloak completely obscuring the faint, cold moonlight in the distance.
