A muffled thud.

Lupin didn't even utter a sound.

His head snapped back and slammed hard against the stone wall.

Blood, bright red blood, gushed out of his nostrils instantly, smearing half of his face.

His eyes rolled back, and his body slid limply down the wall, collapsing into the dust like a lump of mud. Only blood continued to gush from his nostrils.

Lily shook her slightly numb fist, without even looking at the person on the ground.

She bent down and picked up Lupin's fallen wand.

Turn around.

The abandoned classroom was deathly silent.

The moonlight was deathly pale.

There were three lying on the ground.

James fell flat on his face, his face buried in ashes.

Lupin collapsed, his nose bleeding profusely.

Sirius clutched his bleeding arm, his grey eyes fixed on Snape.

Snape's wand was still in his hand, the gray-black light at its tip slowly fading away.

Lily walked between Kayson and Snape.

She was clutching three magic wands in her hand.

James's.

Lupin's.

And her own too.

"Are you going to admit defeat?" Kayson asked, raising an eyebrow.

Sirius, the only one who was still conscious, clicked his tongue in frustration, took out a handkerchief and handed it to Lupin, who was bleeding profusely, and then took out his wand and cast a Cooling Charm on James.

"You won twice," he said reluctantly.

"Good to know." Lily triumphantly tossed James and Lupin's wands to Sirius.

Snape put down his wand, glanced at Sirius was still bleeding, and a cold smile appeared on his lips.

"Let's go," Kayson turned around. "I'm starving. Maybe we can make a celebratory feast in the kitchen."

The three of them walked straight toward the crooked, broken door.

Dust settled slowly behind them.

A dark corner of the ceiling.

Two thieves.

Dumbledore's blue light flickered behind his Half-moon Spectacles as he looked down at Lupin, who was lying on the ground bleeding, Sirius, who was clutching his arm, and sighed softly.

"Thorne... maybe he should bring some popcorn next time he goes to watch a show?"

"Next time?" Heath's eyes gleamed like will-o'-the-wisps in the darkness. "I bet ten gold rubles there will be a next time."

The broken door of the abandoned classroom creaked shut behind it.

The three who left the classroom watched as the darkness of the corridor surged towards them like a tide.

The smell of dust, mildew, and a faint stench of blood clung to my nostrils. Oh, this isn't from the hallway; it's the smell from Lily's robe.

The sound of the three footsteps was exceptionally loud in the deathly silence.

"Is there any leftover food in the cafeteria?" Snape asked in a muffled voice.

" House-elf always leave some behind." Lily shook her numb fist. To be fair, Lupin's face was really tough.

Snape didn't speak; all that could be heard was the rustling sound of his robes brushing against the wall.

Turn a corner.

The moonlight was cast in pale, stark stripes through the high window.

Suddenly, something else appeared in the air.

Cat smell.

It's very strong.

A hunched, dark figure Silencio emerged from behind the pillar in front.

The dim light of the kerosene lamp suddenly pierced the darkness, making the three of them squint.

In the halo of light, a sallow, sagging face looked like a swelled mushroom.

Filch.

He grinned, revealing uneven, yellow teeth, and his cloudy eyes gleamed with a morbid excitement.

Mrs. Norris squatted at his feet, her gray fur bristling, her tail held high, and she made a low purring sound.

"Ha!" Filch's voice cracked like a rusty saw. "I knew it! The little mouse that roams the midnight hours! Gotcha!"

The kerosene lamp moved closer.

"Look at this, three little wizards fighting in the middle of the night."

Snape's face tensed instantly in the shadows.

His sallow fingers trembled with excitement, almost unable to hold the kerosene lamp.

"Come with me! The cellar! Here!" His voice rose, tinged with twisted pleasure. "You'll be locked up until tomorrow morning!"

"If anyone should be confined, it should be our Head of House, not you," Kayson interrupted him, his voice flat.

"The Head of House aren't like you guys who stay up all night and go out for a stroll!"

Mrs. Norris cooperated by letting out a sharp hiss.

"Get out of here!" Lily was fed up, her green eyes practically spitting fire.

Filch's sallow face instantly turned a deep liver color. "You little bitch! You dare talk back!" He spat as he spoke, "Solitary confinement! A month! No! A year! And all of you..."

He suddenly reached out, his withered fingers, as thin as chicken claws, grabbing at Lily's arm!

Lily instinctively stepped back.

Filch missed his target and became even angrier.

Their escape route was blocked.

Ahead were Filch, waving his chicken claws and spitting as he spoke, and a baring cat.

Behind it was a cold stone wall.

"I said... get out of here!" Snape's voice turned cold.

Filch didn't listen at all.

His sallow face was filled with the madness of someone who had caught their prey.

"Arrest them all! Hang them..."

Before he could finish speaking...

Kayson moved.

It's not aimed at Filch.

He suddenly squatted down and slammed his palm hard on the cold floor!

A muffled thud.

It's not magic.

The floor moved by itself.

Without warning, the ground in front of Filch arched upwards!

A square clod of soil, carrying fresh moisture and grass roots, instantly rises from the ground!

Like a low wall, it was positioned exactly at Filch's knee height!

Filch charged too hard.

"Ugh!" he cried out as his withered calf slammed hard against the hard, cold clod of earth!

My body lost its balance, like a piece of wood that had been cut down, and I fell straight forward!

The kerosene lamp flew out of his hand.

The dim yellow light traced an arc as it struck the wall!

Whoosh!

The glass cover shattered.

The flames licked the tapestry and tassels on the wall.

A small plume of black smoke rose up.

Filch landed face down behind the raised clod of earth, getting a mouthful of dust.

Mrs. Norris was terrified and darted into the shadows beside her, her eyes wide with fear.

Filch struggled to lift his head, his sallow face covered in dust, his nose broken, and blood flowing into his mouth.

His eyes were bloodshot, and he roared venomously, "Attack! Attack the administrator! You're finished! I'm going to tell..."

Snape moved.

He strode up to Filch.

I didn't take out my wand.

He suddenly bent over, and there was a loud thud.

Filch's head was instantly chopped off, and for a moment he even forgot to bleed from his nose.

Lily seized the opportunity and jogged over.

She didn't punch him again.

She bent down and picked up a greasy old leather shoe that had rolled off the ground... Filch had just dropped.

The soles of the shoes were stained with suspicious dirt.

She weighed it in her mind.

Swing your arm in a wide arc.

He used the same force he had just used to smash Lu Ping's nose.

With the sound of wind breaking through.

He looked at Filch's face, contorted with nausea and tears streaming down his face.

He slammed it down hard!

A dull yet loud and crisp sound.

Like a wet rag slapped onto mud.

Filch's bulging eyes rolled upwards.

His body convulsed violently.

Then.

And that was the end of it.

A clear, stained shoe sole mark on his face.

Two streams of saliva mixed with nasal blood slowly flowed from his nostrils.

Mrs. Norris let out a shrill scream from the shadows and vanished in a flash.

The corridor fell silent once more.

Only the tiny flame ignited by the kerosene lamp on the tapestry on the wall was still stubbornly burning, illuminating the unconscious caretaker on the ground.

The three of them exchanged glances.

"The cafeteria?" Kayson asked.

"Let's go." Lily nodded.

Snape nudged Filch aside with his toe, making way for him.

The three of them bypassed the human-shaped obstacle on the ground.

The footsteps disappeared into the darkness at the end of the corridor.

Only a small, hissing flame remained on the wall.

There's also something on the ground.

Filch, whose face was marked with shoe prints, whose nose was bleeding profusely, and who had fainted from the stench of his own body.
