Ji Xi earned the title White-Clad Spear God during his years on the demon battlefield, where he killed an Eighth-Order King-Grade Demon with a single spear thrust. He is counted among the academy’s strongest figures and is described as being equal in reputation to Chen Youcai. His specialties are spear techniques and illusions. 170

He later became a Vice Principal of Sacred Origin Martial School and the president of its Sorcerer Alliance branch. He oversees the Calculation Room and uses its authority to monitor exceptional students during the Sub-Tower trials. 170 252

Ji Xi first takes notice of Lin Mu after receiving his Sub-Tower performance report. Initially impressed by Lin Mu’s rapid comprehension of the Six Source Patterns, he upgrades Lin Mu’s rating from S to S+ after watching him comprehend and break the Taiji Diagram formation. 170 171

He sends Ji Shiyao to bring Lin Mu to his office, tests him with an illusion, and accepts him into the Sorcerer Alliance under a Four-Star Contract. He also informs Lin Mu of the Demon Cloud Tower’s rewards and the significance of the Void Probing Secret Realm. 177 178 179

Sorcerer Assessment

When Tang Daidai requests that Lin Mu be promoted directly to Steward, Ji Xi refuses to bypass Alliance procedure. Instead, he arranges for Lin Mu to gain recognition through the Sorcerer Assessment. 252

During the assessment, Ji Xi investigates the sabotage involving An Zian and Zhou Cong, determines that both were affected by the same malicious energy, and handles the dispute between Tang Daidai and An Mo. 267

Demon King Investigation

By using illusion and soul-searching methods, Ji Xi uncovers the Demon King’s escape plans and its network of academy informants. Battle Against the Demon King

Ji Xi leads the final operation against the imprisoned Demon King. He temporarily breaks the seal with his spear, allows the enemy to act within the prepared trap, and coordinates Netherworld creatures and allied forces against it. 359

The plan severely injures the Demon King, but Ji Xi and the others choose to reseal it rather than destroy its nearly indestructible Source of Life crystal. 363
