Amber said.
Seeing her insistence, and that the person who appeared to be her maid showed no objection, Kotori did not try to persuade them further no matter what she suspected. She led the two of them to the nearest hatch and opened it.
A massive gust of wind instantly rushed into the cabin, but none of the three were ordinary people, so the wind pressure did not affect them much.
Noticing the maid looking at her with a thoughtful expression, Kotori knew she was wondering why Kotori could stand so steadily. However, she had no intention of explaining and simply let the other woman speculate.
Besides, she was also curious about why this maid was unaffected by the wind pressure.
Her name was Rita, wasn't it? There seemed to be no information about her in the database... It looked like she was no ordinary maid. Perhaps she was a trained soldier, or even a Valkyrie?
"I've already sent you DEM's location."
Kotori said.
"I understand. Then I'll be going, Rita."
Amber nodded to Kotori before turning to the maid standing behind her.
"Have a safe journey, Lady Yulande."
Even without Valkyrie Armor, Rita was not worried about the girl's safety at all. She smiled and bowed, every bit the proper maid.
Kotori secretly swallowed. Had Schicksal already developed technology that allowed armor to be equipped remotely? Or was what she was wearing already armor? Or perhaps... No, that was impossible, right? No matter what, she was still human. How could she fight without armor?
Before Kotori could continue guessing, Amber leaped directly out of the hatch. As she fell, something resembling both a shield and a hoverboard suddenly appeared beneath her feet, blue-green on top and white on the bottom. It carried her sharply forward.
"What is that thing?"
