Background / History
The Death Overlord was among the first lives born within the Supreme Planes and became the foremost power of the Netherworld. Before attaining Death Rule Paragon, she could already rival the other Rule Overlords through the Heart of the Netherworld, the strength of her body, and the Willpower connected to her status as half of the Netherworld Lord God. 309 491 508
Her strength was publicly demonstrated when Lightning Overlord Hurray attempted to challenge her after refining another Sovereign Spark. She caught and crushed his strongest Thunderclap Spear attack with one hand, then confronted him for exploiting her gathering of the Sovereigns to secretly hunt a weaker Lord God. 218 219
Following Hurray’s violation, she gathered the Sovereigns and created a strength-based hierarchy. She established the Lord God Pact to curb indiscriminate Sovereign-on-Sovereign killing, sentenced Hurray for his actions, and sent his Lord Godheads into the Spatial Turbulence to be claimed by luck. 220 221
Her association with Locke developed from protection and mutual respect into marriage. She supported his growth, aided his weapon-forging efforts, and ultimately accepted his proposal on Nether Mountain. 174 296 282 During Locke’s use of Mirror Flower Water Moon to help her cultivate anew, she gradually regained her memories and later apologized for nearly killing him. 326 335
After she and Locke researched Supreme God Missions for tens of millions of years, she convened the Sixth Lord God Assembly and revealed the completed Death Supreme God Mission to the other Sovereigns rather than keeping its rewards for herself. She then summoned the Death Supreme God and selected an offensive Supreme Artifact as her own reward. 336 337
Personality
The Death Overlord is exceptionally proud, forceful, and direct. She does not tolerate challenges to her authority, particularly within the Netherworld, and regards attempts by fellow Rule Overlords to restrain her as presumptuous. 231 296
Despite her overwhelming power, she recognizes genuine ability and respects those who earn it. Locke considers himself among the few people to gain her sincere admiration. 231 Her combat style is notably blunt for a Death Rule Sovereign: Vivian observes that Lilia neglects the Death Rule’s natural advantages in soul-based study and instead fights like a close-combat warrior. 262
She is also capable of generosity and long-term thinking. Her decision to disclose the Supreme God Mission was intended to give stagnating Sovereigns a path forward and reduce the despair that could drive them toward destruction. 336 337
Abilities & Skills
Heart of the Netherworld
The Heart of the Netherworld is the Netherworld’s innate supreme treasure and the principal source of the Death Overlord’s early dominance.
- It allowed her to contend with nearly all other Sovereigns by herself before the other Rule Overlords’ later growth. 170
- Even outside the Netherworld, it could amplify her strength by a hundredfold. 491
- Within the Netherworld, it lets her draw upon the plane’s power; before Locke became a God King, she was considered nearly comparable to the Death Supreme God there. 282
- Its existence made the other Rule Overlords wary that she would eventually help Locke secure a Water Overlord Godhead. 236
Death Rule Paragon
Lilia eventually reached Great Perfection in the Death Rule through independent cultivation.
- Her progress had previously been hindered by reliance on the Power of Faith within her Sovereign Spark. 408
- Locke’s Mirror Flower Water Moon allowed her to cultivate the Death Rule anew over millions of subjective years. 326
- Upon becoming a Death Rule Paragon, her strength increased another hundredfold and placed her decisively above the other Rule Overlords. 480 491
Law of Reincarnation
Through her Paragon Death Rule, the Death Overlord accessed a higher Law beyond the ordinary Rules.
- She comprehended 25% of the Law of Reincarnation accessible through the Death Rule. 457
- Each 10% of this higher Law increases her strength tenfold; her 25% comprehension provided a five-hundredfold increase. 457
- Her combined advantages were later calculated as making her ordinary strength five hundred thousand times greater than that of the other Rule Overlords. 516
Sovereign Physique and Willpower
The Death Overlord possesses exceptional inherent defenses and Willpower even apart from the Heart of the Netherworld.
- Her body is as tough as a Sovereign Artifact. 218
- She possesses twin-born Sovereign bodies, granting an additional portion of Willpower compared with ordinary Sovereigns. 218 220
- As half of the Netherworld Lord God, she receives further Willpower through her Sovereign Spark. 446 491
- The Underworld’s tenth consecutive Plane Battlefield victory supplied her with an additional reward of Great Perfection-level Willpower. 400 446
Water Element Divine Clone
Her Water Element Divine Clone has touched upon the higher Law of Space despite not attaining Water Law Paragon.
- The clone accidentally comprehended a portion of Space Power after reaching a sufficient Water Law level. 351
- This allows her to use one powerful Ultimate Move that draws upon higher-level spatial laws. 351
- She attempted to learn Locke’s World Freeze, but her incomplete Water Element Laws prevented her from reproducing it. 262
Lord God Authority
As the organizer of the Sovereigns’ political order, the Death Overlord has repeatedly imposed binding standards on Lord God conduct.
- She created the rank system of Lesser, Intermediate, Overlord, and Paragon Sovereigns. 220
- She established the title “Invincible Paragon.” 221
- She restricted the number of Sovereign Envoys and Sovereign Artifacts individual Sovereigns could grant. 221
- She isolated those refusing to join the Sovereign Legion by covering Nether Mountain with a lightning net. 231

Story Role / Major Arcs
Establishing the Lord God Pact
The Death Overlord centralizes Sovereign governance after Hurray’s murder of a Lesser Sovereign. She exposes the true power of the Rule Overlords, formalizes the Sovereign ranking system, and makes Hurray’s execution a warning against breaking the new pact. 217 220 221
Alliance with Locke
She becomes Locke’s foremost supporter among the Rule Overlords, protecting his interests in the Underworld and helping him acquire the resources needed to forge artifacts. Her connection to Locke causes Ov, Uthred, and Vivian to fear that she may aid his rise into an uncontestable Water Overlord. 174 236 296
Re-Cultivation and Paragon Breakthrough
While under Locke’s Mirror Flower Water Moon, she unknowingly re-cultivates the Death Rule without the Power of Faith. This process culminates in her independent attainment of Death Rule Paragon, fundamentally increasing her standing among the Rule Overlords. 326 351 491
Supreme God Mission
After recovering her memories, she and Locke assemble the three Death Supreme God tokens: the Black Demon Shirt, Blood Shadow Flame, and Soul Annihilation Pearl. She publicly shares the mission’s rewards with the Sovereigns, then chooses an offensive Supreme Artifact for herself. 335 336 337
Plane Battlefield Support
She accepts Locke’s Sovereign Legion in the Underworld’s tenth consecutive Plane Battlefield victory. The resulting Willpower reward strengthens the Death Lord Gods tenfold and further reinforces the alliance between her and Locke. 400 401
