Luo An is the son of Locke and Lilia, the Death Overlord. Although born from two Sovereigns, his bloodline did not initially reach full divine-beast purity. His true form was a grayish-green Dijiang Cub with two legs and two wings, unlike Locke’s crimson six-legged, four-winged Dijiang form. His mixed heritage gave him both a divine-beast body and traits of a plant-type special lifeform 352.

Because he developed consciousness while still being nurtured within Lilia, Luo An knew to become divine outside his body upon birth. Being born a deity spared him the usual stages through which mortals approach and comprehend laws, but it also left gaps in his foundational understanding. Locke and Lilia spent more than a decade cultivating his sensitivity toward laws and teaching him to use the Water Wave Profundity as a basis for understanding further Water Law Profundities 352 354.

He dreams of becoming the strongest practitioner of the Water Law, a goal reflected in his self-proclaimed “Sea Emperor” title. His ambition survived repeated setbacks, including his inability to immediately attain Great Perfection after reaching the peak of the Water Laws 360 377 378.

Quasi-Great Perfection

After Theresia became a Wind Law Paragon, Luo An challenged him to measure the gap between himself and a Great Perfection expert. Their battle lasted three days and ended in a draw; the circulated record of the duel popularized the title “Quasi-Great Perfection” for Luo An 378 379 380 381.

Water Law Paragon and Bloodline Path
