Arc 29Immortal Ascension and Cosmic Discoveries

Mark revived Xerneas, witnessed the birth of Mewtwo’s consciousness, and became an immortal through his own cultivation. He then used his new abilities to enlighten Pokémon and explore the Solar System, while the Rainbow R Organization prepared its next operation.

  • Mark’s experiments with Hoopa’s rings compressed an Oran Berry into a durable two-dimensional form, and he returned to Ideal Land to learn that the Life Reagent had briefly stirred Xerneas without reviving it.
  • Mark coordinated Xerneas’s creation, recognized its emerging spirituality, and helped subdue it when it awakened violently and transformed Ideal Land’s headquarters into a jungle.
  • Mark captured Xerneas and traveled with Lan Run to observe Mewtwo’s consciousness forming, gaining insight into spirituality before bringing Lan Run to Ideal Land for Combat Training.
  • Mark concluded that surgery alone could not make him immortal, synchronized his body, power, and will, and ascended at Clear Stream Lake as an immortal.
  • Mark demonstrated his new abilities by restoring the lake, evolving its Magikarp into gentle Gyarados, and enlightening Pokémon, including Leafeon, the Cosmog, and Rayquaza.
  • Mark taught Rayquaza about nuclear fusion, leading it to develop a silver Plasma Form and travel to the Sun, where it learned nuclear fusion but returned battered after an uncontrolled explosion.
  • Mark explored the Solar System with his Pokémon, checked on Kyogre at Neptune and Groudon at Saturn, discovered Heatran beside two Groudons, and enlightened Groudon so it could fly.
  • The Rainbow R Organization restricted and transferred its files on the OTZ404 Parallel Timeline, while Doctor Rein told a silver-haired young man that Mark had succeeded in reviving Xerneas.

Arc 30Invitations Across Time-Space

Mark became a Legendary Trainer and faced the prospect of missing the World Champion Tournament, while a mysterious invitation drew versions of Mark and other powerful Trainers toward a Strongest Trainer Competition. Meanwhile, Sun Jun and his companions learned more about the Star Alliance and Corey’s plans, but their efforts to contact Shaymin stalled.

  • Mi Yang recruited Mark and Red Fire, reprimanded Black for trying to seize Xerneas, and learned that Blue Enchantress had joined the Star Alliance.
  • Corey led the Rainbow Guard into the OTZ404 Parallel Timeline to control Necrozma, but Necrozma awakened early, absorbed Solgaleo and Lunala, and pursued a powerful light into the Chaos Space.
  • Corey encountered Rayquaza, Jirachi, Mew, and Lugia in the Chaos Space, where Necrozma repeatedly fused with other Pokémon before Jirachi ended the experiments and the group returned to Clear Stream Village.
  • Sun Jun learned about the Rainbow R Organization’s Ancient Revival Plan, and Jirachi’s group rescued Lan Sanji and Shi Xiaoling from a Star Alliance base in a parallel time-space.
  • Sun Jun, Lan Sanji, and Shi Xiaoling questioned Corey and learned about the Rainbow Guard and his plan to control Ultra Necrozma, while Mark upgraded Clear Stream Village and became the World Pokemon Alliance’s third Legendary Trainer.
  • Mark accepted that he would present awards rather than compete in the World Champion Tournament, and Hoopa Confined unexpectedly found a black invitation to a Strongest Trainer Competition.
  • Mark and Mewtwo traced the invitation to a tournament connected to Mewtwo Strikes Back, while its writer dispatched invitations to Mark and other powerful Trainers across parallel time-spaces.
  • Sun Jun opened Corey’s invitation and stopped himself from signing it, while another version of Mark received a second invitation and agreed to let Jirachi create another with Victini’s help.
