Before noon had even arrived, the place was already bustling with people.
An occasional car passed along the widened road, but most of the people were on foot or riding bicycles.

"After all, more than a hundred thousand people live in this settlement."
Yang Kai gave an unconcerned chuckle.
"A settlement of a hundred thousand people, yet it has been planned so densely."
By comparison, the settlements under the Science Committee's jurisdiction were far more scientifically designed.
People worked according to orderly routines and received scientific management. Even settlements with hundreds of thousands of people would never be this chaotic and disorderly.
More importantly, they prevented waste of resources.
