Background

Minghe was found as an infant by a Daoist nun after her past-life existence underwent Disassembly and Rebirth. Born with extraordinary immortal intent, she was named “Minghe” and raised as the nun’s sole disciple. Her later awakening revealed that she was the reincarnated Nether River—the manifestation of the Netherworld’s will. 897

Before the age of twenty, Minghe had already reached the peak of the Heart of the Harp Realm. Her journey through Nanli, where she observed conflict between mortals, cultivators, and competing ideals of immortality, gave her the insight needed to form her Golden Core and enter the Soaring Cloud Realm. 114

Her early encounters with Qin Yi challenged her detached view of the mortal world.
