Background and History
Bai and her twin brother Kong introduce themselves as people with no names, only codenames. At the Alchemy Academy aptitude test, she examines the female students while Kong examines the males. She later teaches card making through a fast-paced curriculum that begins with combat diagnostics in a simulation dungeon 13 28.
During Caroso’s diagnostic match, Bai counters his deck before summoning Nagas against him. She acknowledges defeat when his final attack forces her to exceed the agreed third-tier power limit. She continues to tutor him after reaching eighth-tier, though her duties as a royal card maker sometimes restrict how openly she can help him 29 31 155 392.
In the Brave Warrior Trial, Bai faces a hallucination in which Kong dies protecting her. After the trial unexpectedly sends her and an unconscious Caroso into the White Desert, she bandages him and carries him toward an oasis despite the land suppressing her powers. She subsequently reaches ninth-tier and fights alongside Caroso and Teresa 430 431 436.
Bai accepts forbidden knowledge from the Lord of Eternal Life to make a card that can purify Caroso’s dangerously unstable magic power. Kong later believes she has died, but she awakens beside Caroso in the Nether Sea. There, Tig’s harsh instruction improves her control of Laws, and she develops Osiris’s Sky Dragon 458 466 471 483 493.

Bai has a petite frame, notably contrasted with the large chainsaw she wields during one fight. When rested, she has a pale but rosy complexion and smooth hair; an extended spell of work leaves her with dark circles, greasy hair and a ghostly pallor 306 420.
