Dangerous Castle

"Based on the current situation, each Patrol Team has ten members. Nine are Elementary Sequence True Gods, while the team leader is a Middle Sequence True God." Liliath frowned slightly as she analyzed the situation inside the castle. "But it is still unclear how many Patrol Teams there are in total, or whether there are any stronger figures besides them."

"Before I know the exact situation, I can only move in the shadows..." Liliath knew perfectly well that if she alerted any one of the Patrol Teams, she might trigger the alarm system for the entire castle. If that happened, it would be difficult to continue her operations. She could only be as cautious as possible and avoid being discovered.

Realizing she could obtain no more useful information from the first Patrol Team, Liliath gave up following them. After turning at a fork in the passageway, she continued investigating the castle alone.

Over the next three-plus hours, she encountered fifteen Patrol Teams in succession. She ran into one nearly every ten minutes, making it clear that the castle's security system was exceptionally thorough. If not for the advantage of her Pupil Technique, she would likely have been discovered long ago.

Aside from the large number of patrol personnel, she also discovered that the castle was absurdly enormous. In three hours, she had barely walked the same route twice. She also roughly estimated that the area she had explored was probably less than one-third of the castle.

Of course, gaining an understanding of the castle's layout was not her only harvest.
