He is willing to make ruthless decisions for the Federation's survival and expansion. Lin Zhen took office during a crisis that threatened the Federation's existence. As President, he oversaw the Federation's expansion after Lin Fan's conquest of fifteen of the Oakes Empire's most developed star systems. The victory increased the Federation's territory from four to nineteen star systems. 100
