A massive Tyrannosaurus Rex suddenly charged out. Even though they had already received word, everyone still could not help showing expressions of surprise.
Naturally, the Batmobile had no chance of slowing down. It slammed head-on into the Tyrannosaurus Rex.
Even the Tyrannosaurus Rex's ten-ton body was blasted backward by the sudden impact, scraping across the ground for more than ten meters before finally stopping.
The smaller Batmobile fared even worse. Its hood caved in, and it spun through the air before crashing headfirst into an abandoned shipping container.
"FUCK! What a great car you drove!" Jude grumbled, shaking his dizzy head.
"That's why I told you to fasten your seat belts. Get out now and prepare to fight."
Red Robin seemed quite experienced with this sort of collision. He threw open the door and jumped out.
But the moment he showed himself, a circle of ninjas had already surrounded him.
"Looks like we'll have to deal with you first."
With that, Red Robin plunged into the mass of ninjas and began fighting. Jude, Ivy, Bridget, and the others also leaped from the car and joined the battle.
The Foot Clan's ninjas were ordinary people, after all, and their combat ability was ultimately limited. With everyone going all out, they did not last five minutes before half of them were on the ground. The rest merely circled from a distance, not daring to attack again.
Bruce led the others farther inside and looked up at Ra's al Ghul and Shredder. "No matter what you're planning, I'll stop it."
Ra's al Ghul smiled. "Is that so? You seem very confident, Batman. But first, take a look at the special gifts I have prepared for you."
He clapped his hands, and several figures immediately emerged from the shadows behind him.
One was a man in a black-and-white suit with a straight, imposing posture. Yet terrifyingly, he had two jackal heads.
Another was a monstrous bird-man wearing a Scarecrow mask, with wings and claws.
There was also a fox-headed man in a black top hat, holding a pocket watch, a pig-headed man wielding two kitchen knives, and more.
Looking at these bizarre yet somewhat familiar figures, Damian asked with a disgusted expression, "That two-headed freak wouldn't be Two-Face, would it?"
Two-Face immediately drew two guns and aimed them at him. Both jackal heads revealed terrifying smiles. "Correct answer. Are you satisfied with my new appearance?"
Damian curled his lip. "You're not too bad. The bird freak should be Scarecrow, and the fox head is Mad Hatter. But who are that pig and the rat?"
The pig-headed man immediately waved his twin blades. "I'm Professor Pyg Valentine, brat!"
"As for that rat, he's Ventriloquist. His mutation failed. What a pitiful fellow."
The rat, who stood less than half a meter tall, immediately reached out angrily with his claws and scratched at Professor Pyg. But before he could scratch twice, he was kicked away and collapsed limply onto the ground.
From beginning to end, no one even looked at him. He truly was a pitiful and tragic fellow.
Ra's al Ghul looked down at them from above. "Well? Are you satisfied with the surprise I prepared?"
When no one answered, Ra's al Ghul continued, "And it's not over yet. I did not only prepare a surprise for you. I prepared one for all of Gotham as well."
He clapped his hands, and beastly roars instantly filled the air. The ground began to shake violently as all manner of beasts converged on the area.
Among them were large creatures such as rhinoceroses, elephants, lions, tigers, and dinosaurs, numbering several hundred in total.
At the sight, everyone broke out in cold sweat. If these monsters charged into the city, they would absolutely cause a disaster.
"Go!"
Ra's al Ghul lightly crooked a finger, and the mutated villains immediately rushed down. He himself turned and left. The most urgent matter was guarding the spray device, and that required his personal supervision. Experience had taught him that failure often came at the very last moment. This time... he absolutely could not fail!
"Don't you dare leave!"
Seeing this, Bruce fired his grappling hook, trying to catch Ra's al Ghul.
But Shredder had been watching him all along. The instant Bruce moved, he swiftly knocked the grappling hook aside. With a kick off the ground, he leaped down, his wrist blades stabbing straight toward Bruce's chest.
Bang!
After a brief clash, Bruce was forced back several steps by the impact Shredder brought down from above.
"So Batman is nothing special after all!"
Their father had been driven back, and all three sons were enraged at once. Damian drew Katana and was about to slash at Shredder.
But Professor Pyg charged at him, his thick, long tongue hanging out as white vapor puffed from his mouth, twin kitchen knives waving. "I'm your opponent, brat!"
At the same time, the others were also attacked.
Two-Face had originally been a rather mediocre fighter, but after mutating into a two-headed wolf, his speed and strength increased severalfold. He actually fought Nightwing evenly.
Scarecrow beat his wings, circled a few times, then dived straight toward Firefly.
"Come on, you crow!" Bridget shrieked as she spewed flames.
Mad Hatter's two fox claws traced mysterious paths, and tangible rings of hypnotic ripples spread outward.
Batgirl Stephanie retreated several steps, pulled a pair of anti-ripple glasses from her chest, and put them on. Her tensed thighs kicked off the ground, and she raised her leg toward his head.
Killer Croc opened his blood-filled maw and pounced on Red Robin. He was already beastlike by nature, so whether he mutated or not hardly mattered. Mutating might even lower his already limited intelligence.
Clayface charged at Ivy, who looked the most harmless of all. Of course, this was not because he bullied the weak; he was simply extremely irritated by Ivy's sparkling skin under the lights.
"Little miss, I'll turn you into a pile of mud!"
"Ugh... I hate mud."
Just then, sirens blared outside the chemical plant gates. Dozens of police cars drove in one after another, instantly blocking the entrance.
Commissioner Gordon had a good plan. He had emptied out all his resources and deployed hundreds of officers, intending to join forces with the Bat Family and wipe out the League of Assassins and the Foot Clan.
But only upon arriving did he understand what it meant for ideals to be full while reality was painfully thin. When more than a dozen prehistoric beasts charged at the front, with a hundred other animals stampeding behind them, he finally understood despair.
"James, the police cars are shaking! Did you bring us here to arrest people or visit a zoo? And it's a fucking prehistoric zoo!"
An older officer shouted at Commissioner Gordon with his mouth hanging open.
In truth, there was no need for him to shout, because Gordon himself was dumbfounded. He looked at the small pistol in his hand and could only regret not bringing all the heavy firepower.
"Everyone, spread out! Find cover! Get behind the cars! We cannot let these monsters enter the city!"
Intense gunfire instantly erupted within the chemical plant, but compared to the deafening roars of the beasts, it was nothing worth mentioning.
And amid this utter chaos, no one noticed Jude press the switch on his belt and vanish into a corner.
I like chaos.
