Background and History

Bruce is the son of Thomas and Martha Wayne. Their murder in Crime Alley remains the defining trauma of his life and drives his determination to protect Gotham. Jude links the Wayne family's long conflict with the Court of Owls to the circumstances surrounding their deaths, but cannot provide Bruce a definitive answer. 24 25
