Background

Ning Fengzhi led the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect while carefully expanding its intelligence network, resources, and influence. He permitted Ning Rongrong to deploy sect personnel across the continent under a three-year agreement, suppressing internal objections so long as her actions remained within limits. This operation led to surveillance at Notting Academy and intelligence concerning Tang San and Xiao Wu 4 5.

He initially regarded the transformed hundred-thousand-year soul beast near Tang Hao as both a major opportunity and a danger. Rather than recklessly pursue Xiao Wu, he assessed Tang Hao's strength, the risk of retaliation against the sect, and the political ties among the Upper Three Sects 5 6.

Ning Fengzhi accepted Tang Hao's eventual compensation for withdrawing from the matter: two 30,000-year Soul Bones, including a spirit-type gem Soul Bone that suited the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda 6 10.
