An Hao became Gu An's disciple while still young and formed a close bond with An Xin. At fourteen, after surviving a demon-cave ordeal, he vowed to cultivate until he was renowned beneath heaven and to answer any call from his master, even at the cost of his life. Gu An subsequently watched over An Hao and An Xin until they safely reached the Taixuan Sect's outer sect. 77 81

His exceptional sword intent shook the Taixuan Sect and led many to believe he had inherited Sword Venerable Fudao's legacy.
