Green Field Civilization

Seashell is the final known survivor of the Green Field Civilization and the rightful owner of Sky City. Her civilization's attempt to create an omnipotent god centered on an As One Wishes user's soul, the Opium Poppy Tree, and the accumulated God's Skills and spirits of its people. 204 222

The civilization was destroyed when its High Priest was revealed as a Demon seeking to possess the god at the instant of its birth. Seashell's parents opposed him to protect their daughter and preserve Green Field Paradise, which contained the consciousnesses of their people. Her mother took control of the Opium Poppy Tree during the resulting catastrophe. 86 205

Seashell later witnesses historical illusions of her father and learns of the unbearable choice her parents faced. The revelations leave her struggling with her identity, her survival, and the meaning of being the sole remnant of her civilization. 205 187

Rescue and Rebirth

When Lu Yuan finds her, Seashell exists as a soul sheltered in a Starry Sky Conch. He gives her the name “Seashell” and becomes her closest companion. 187

Lu Yuan interrupts the Opium Poppy Tree's Ascension Ceremony by sealing her soul within a Soul Gem, using Seal Resin and an inscription-equipped metal plate to prevent external soul injection while preserving telepathic contact with her. 186

During the conflict surrounding the Queen Insect, Seashell's original infant body and Life Fruit are consumed; the Queen Insect subsequently produces another fruit. Seashell is later reborn into a physical body through a Life Fruit. 216 224

Green Field Paradise

After gaining her body, Seashell enters Green Field Paradise and activates the Green Field Civilization Inheritance System. Its six major modules include Carefree Paradise, Green Field Heart, Industrial Paradise, Education Paradise, Battle Paradise, and Technology Paradise. 225

Her control of the system makes her indispensable to Green Field City's development, education, research, and containment efforts. Over time, humans begin taking shifts in Green Field Paradise to reduce the burden that had rested on her soul alone. 225 402
