Leng Qingqiu is the controlling shareholder and president of Lanzi Group, personally holding 67% of its shares. She built the company over years and treats its survival as her foremost priority. When competitors suppress the company, research products stagnate, and its capital chain nears collapse, she pursues Lingxiao Capital's proposed investment without hesitation. 11 28

At the time, Xiao Chen serves as her bodyguard. His repeated advances and his insistence on calling her “Qingqiu” disgust her; she tolerates him only because of his combat ability. When he secretly follows her to an investment negotiation and disrupts it, she fires him and slaps him in anger. 14 17

She first meets Jiang Che at Yuexin Restaurant while negotiating Lingxiao Capital's investment. Initially impressed by his appearance, reputation, and apparent professionalism, she treats him with considerable respect and attempts to secure the deal through business etiquette. 15
