Background / History

Tony Stark was the young, wealthy owner of Stark Group and a dominant public figure in the arms industry. At the Weapons Expo, he unveiled Stark Industries’ Jericho Missile, an intelligently controlled cluster weapon built around anti-gravity and rapid counterattack technology. Its precision and destructive power impressed military officials despite its price exceeding five million dollars per unit 13 23.

During a missile test in Afghanistan, Stark was kidnapped by armed forces and left with shrapnel embedded in his chest.
