Newt hurriedly pulled out his tablet and quickly began operating it, only to find that it showed the Giant Jaeger that had slaughtered large numbers of Kaiju in Tokyo was still at Moyulan Base.

The satellite surveillance could not have been wrong. If that Giant Jaeger had left Moyulan Base, he would have received an alert immediately.
Yet the Giant Jaeger before him was truly standing right there. It could not possibly be fake.
What Newt did not know was that the Giant Jaeger converted from a Dark Elf warship possessed cloaking capabilities of its own. His satellite surveillance program was completely ineffective against it.

Inside the Giant Jaeger, Chen Mo looked at the fully opened breach and nodded in satisfaction. Newt had not disappointed him after all!
Chen Mo had originally worried that if Newt failed to open the breach, he would have to go to some trouble and let other Kaiju worshippers controlled by the Precursors "find an opportunity" to implant the monster embryos into the drone Jaegers' control cores again, allowing them to reopen a breach.
But now, everything was much simpler.
As the several Kaiju at the front roared and charged rapidly toward the Giant Jaeger, Chen Mo did not take the initiative to meet them. Instead, he raised his head and looked toward the sky.
