"Of course!"
Chen Mo looked at Star-Lord and nodded. He had been meaning to tell Star-Lord about what had been happening on Earth anyway.
Seeing Chen Mo agree, Star-Lord could not help feeling excited. But after glancing around the cockpit and realizing it was not suitable for a proper conversation, he immediately said to Chen Mo,
"Let's go to the lounge and talk!"
Chen Mo did not refuse. The two of them immediately went through the hatch into the lounge beneath the cockpit. The space here was somewhat more spacious than above, with a table fixed to the floor in the middle. The red-skinned alien woman, Bereet, was sitting beside the table, cradling a cup of water as she watched an alien soap opera playing on the display across from her.
When she saw the two of them come down, Bereet greeted them warmly, then turned back to the screen and continued watching without blinking.
Chen Mo and Star-Lord did not disturb her. They headed directly deeper into the lounge, near the rear of the ship. The wall at the very back was made of glass, and through it they could see Morag behind them, along with the several enormous planets beside it, quietly suspended in the dark universe and gradually receding as the ship sped away.
Chen Mo withdrew his gaze from the stars and looked around. This was probably where Star-Lord normally slept and rested. Two sofa beds were fixed against the walls on either side, while an old-fashioned wooden cassette player was embedded in one wall. The surrounding walls were plastered with all sorts of Earth-related photos and stickers.
However, Chen Mo's attention was drawn to one particular poster.
It was the largest and most eye-catching poster on the entire wall, impossible for Chen Mo to miss.
