After talking for a while, Chen Mo realized that quite a lot of major events had happened on Earth over the past few years. It would take a long time to explain them all to Star-Lord, so he simply had J.A.R.V.I.S. compile a video and accompanying notes, then sent them to Star-Lord to watch on his own.
Throughout it all, Star-Lord's eyes remained wide as he was stunned by one scene after another in the footage.

When Star-Lord saw Chen Mo charge into the wormhole against the countless Chitauri pouring out of it, ultimately using a nuclear bomb to completely destroy the entire Chitauri army, his gaze toward Chen Mo could not help but fill with reverence.
If Star-Lord had previously retained even the slightest uncertainty about Chen Mo's identity as the Commander, then now, he no longer had the slightest doubt.
The materials J.A.R.V.I.S. had compiled included footage of the US military issuing a statement on the Commander's return, as well as images of a rescue team pulling Chen Mo, clad in an alloy armored combat suit and frozen in ice, from the wreckage of the Valkyrie bomber on Greenland's ice field.
But Chen Mo's act of stepping forward despite the danger, crossing the wormhole alone, and risking mutual destruction to destroy the Chitauri mothership was by itself enough to convince him
