He had simply thrown them into the storage room, letting his father's life's work be buried beneath dust!

Thinking of this, Tony Stark could not help but feel deeply guilty.

The father he had always believed to be selfish, cold, and incapable of loving him had suddenly been completely transformed in his eyes. The deeply ingrained beliefs that had shaped him for so long had abruptly collapsed, and the impact on Tony Stark was immense!

It was only after remaining in the dark laboratory for a long time that Tony Stark came back to himself. At the same time, the knot that had long lingered in his heart finally came undone, and his entire mood became much lighter and happier.

Having accepted his father Howard once more, Tony was immensely curious about the "life's work" Howard had said he had left for him. Yet after going through every piece of information and document in the box, Tony Stark discovered that there was no specific information about the research.

The only clue he had gotten from the materials in the box was that Howard had been researching a new element, but there was no indication whatsoever of what this new element consisted of.

Tony Stark frowned at the pile of documents before him. Since his father had said he was leaving him the results of that unfinished research, there was no way he could have left no information at all. It had to have been hidden for confidentiality!

And there had to be a clue somewhere in these documents!

Tony Stark's eyes suddenly lit up as he recalled Howard's manner in the recording when he spoke of what he had left behind.
