These soldiers were enemies of the Strategic Homeland Defense, Attack, and Logistics Bureau recruited by Agent Hawkeye Clint Barton for Loki. As the pilot continued futilely pulling the trigger of his empty pistol, Tony Stark had already reached him. He stretched out an arm, grabbed him by the neck, and yanked him out before hurling him toward the rear of the fighter.

A shrill scream tore through the cabin, passed through the hatch, and rapidly faded away. The remaining pilot watched the cold iron mask turn toward him and could not help swallowing hard.

"So, shall we land now? Or would you like to find out whether you can fly?"

The sole surviving pilot hurriedly shook his head, then immediately turned around and guided the Quinjet into a smooth landing on the carrier's deck.

Someone naturally took care of the corpses in the cabin, the surrendered pilot, and Agent Hawkeye Clint Barton, whom Tony Stark had knocked unconscious. Tony Stark himself quickly returned to the command center.
