"It's me." Lynn nodded indifferently. "Enough nonsense. I rushed here without stopping after breaking through to godhood, not to waste words with you!"

A gloomy look flashed through the Beast God's eyes. "Human, do you think becoming a god means you can kill me? Today, I'll show you the difference between gods."

As it spoke, a crimson longsword appeared in its hand. The moment it grasped the sword, emerald-green flames began to coil around it. The surrounding space immediately became unstable, as though it might shatter like ice at any moment.

"Die!"

With a low roar, the Beast God transformed into a green shadow and instantly closed in on Lynn, hacking fiercely at him with its longsword.

"Hmph! Good!"

Lynn neither dodged nor evaded. His long staff swept out as though heaven and earth had overturned, colliding with the Beast God's longsword.

Bang!

The terrifying power buried deep within his God Devouring Rat bloodline erupted instantly. The moment staff and sword met, the Beast God was sent flying, while its longsword flew from its grasp and vanished somewhere in the distance.

But at that very moment, a great mass of emerald-green flames detached from the longsword. After a Flicker in midair, it plunged directly into Lynn's body.

It was the Beast God's Soul Attack!

"What terrifying strength!" The Beast God flew backward for dozens of li before barely stabilizing itself. Its face was pale as it stared at Lynn in the distance. It had already been injured after a single exchange. "Hmph! But my Soul Attack isn't so easy to withstand!"

Yet the next moment, it saw Lynn grip his staff in both hands and transform into a black shadow as he smashed toward it, looking nothing like someone whose soul had been injured.

The Beast God transformed into a flame and barely dodged Lynn's attack. Its face was filled with disbelief. "Why didn't my Soul Attack affect you?!"

If it had not seen the emerald-green flames enter Lynn's body with its own eyes, it might have thought that its attack had missed.

Lynn had no intention of explaining. That green flame might have injured an ordinary Demigod, but his Soul Power was immensely powerful. His Soul Space was also protected by the innate Black Light from his divine beast God Devouring Rat bloodline. To him, the Beast God's Soul Attack was barely any different from a tickle.
