Background / History

Snow Woman was the ruler of the Extreme North, a Heavenly Snow Woman born from ice, snow, and the spiritual energy of heaven and earth. Before her transformation, she had cultivated for roughly 780,000 years and was approaching another heavenly tribulation. Concerned that she lacked the strength to survive it, she considered Form Transformation and cultivation as a human instead. 48 69 71

She first encountered Tang Hao and Tang San in the Extreme North. Although she had severely injured Tang Hao with a casual slap on an earlier encounter, she allowed the pair to leave alive, wishing to learn why powerful human Soul Masters had entered the region. 48

While attempting Form Transformation in an icy pool rich with ice marrow, she was discovered by Xu Yu. The Treasure Codex automatically imposed a slave contract on her; she rejected enslavement and threatened to self-destruct rather than submit. The initial contract broke, and an equal contract was established instead. 68 69

Snow Woman ultimately sacrificed herself while contracting with Xu Yu, granting him her accumulated ice-and-snow insights and soul bone. The Treasure Codex used the Snow Lotus soul bone to continue her interrupted Form Transformation, but concealed an additional contract that would bind her more deeply than she realized. 69 71

After transforming, she emerged as a Rank 78 Soul Saint and Diamond-grade summoned beast. Xu Yu rejected her preferred nickname, “Snow Emperor,” and renamed her “Snow Woman,” a decision that immediately irritated her. 72

When faced with Xu Yu's first contract, she preferred self-destruction to enslavement. 68 69 Even after her transformation reduced her strength, she retained the bearing and decisiveness of the former ruler of the Extreme North. 77

She is curious about unfamiliar things, particularly the Treasure Codex, its summoned beasts, and the Ice Snow Great Tree connected to her bloodline. 72 76 Her curiosity can appear intimidating to weaker beings, as demonstrated by the fear she inadvertently caused Old Bi and Skywater Academy's students. 76

Snow Woman also has a mischievous and manipulative side. She teases Xu Yu, bullies Moss Head for information, and makes Old Bi perform labor around her cold pool. 84 86 Despite this, she consistently shows concern for Xu Yu and the other inhabitants of the Treasure Codex. 107 139
