Background / History
Nuwa arrives after Liu Feng survives his transformation tribulation. She had sensed her Dao heart tremble and a premonition that keeping the newly transformed willow close would bring boundless opportunities. Unable to deduce much of Liu Feng's past or future, she nevertheless offers to accept him as her disciple. 5 14
Houtu interrupts the apprenticeship, wishing to claim Liu Feng herself. Nuwa becomes openly competitive and presents her natal top-grade Primordial Spiritual Treasure, the Bao Lian Deng, as an apprenticeship gift. Liu Feng chooses Nuwa, who immediately takes him back to her Daoist temple on Mount Buzhou. 6 7
Initially, Nuwa doubts her decision after Liu Feng repeatedly sleeps instead of cultivating. Her frustration eventually leads her to throw him into a lotus pond and lecture him on diligence. Despite his laziness, Liu Feng's explanations of the Mythic Method, the dantians, and Primordial Qi repeatedly grant Nuwa enlightenment and accelerate her growth. 9 11 12 29 33
Nuwa cultivates yin Primordial Qi, which later merges with Liu Feng's yang Primordial Qi during joint cultivation. The union strengthens Liu Feng enough to achieve a major breakthrough and gives Nuwa the ability to sense thoughts of his that concern her. She privately suspects that this fusion also contributed to Liu Feng's Divine Ability. 45 60
When Liu Feng's breakthrough draws powerful figures to Mount Buzhou, Nuwa protects him from Dijun's attempted abduction with the Heaven-Fixing Hairpin. She publicly identifies Liu Feng as her disciple and dismisses the gathered cultivators, establishing her reputation as an overwhelming protector. 49
Appearance
Nuwa is described as a peerlessly beautiful woman with an aloof, noble presence. Her clear voice is compared to a mountain stream and a winter plum blossom, while her bearing remains sacred even during moments of embarrassment or irritation. 5

- Frequently displays a faint blush when caught off guard by Liu Feng. 9 14 30

Personality
Nuwa is proud, competitive, and protective of those she considers hers. Her rivalry with Houtu drives her to make an unusually lavish offer for Liu Feng's apprenticeship, and she takes visible satisfaction in winning his choice. 7
As a master, she demands diligence and reacts sharply to Liu Feng's constant sleeping, evasions, and irreverent thoughts. Her discipline can be forceful—she throws him into a lotus pond, threatens to withdraw protection, and later accidentally sends him off Mount Buzhou in anger. 11 32 125
Despite her temper, Nuwa deeply values Liu Feng's safety and potential. She protects him during the Mount Buzhou confrontation, sends the Bao Lian Deng after him when he falls from the mountain, and eventually accepts that his unconventional methods have brought her extraordinary opportunities. 49 54 126
