In a tower guest room at Ilvermorny Castle, Hermione slowly sat up in bed. As she fixed her hair, she looked out the window and saw an owl taking a leisurely stroll along the branches of the distant woods.

In another guest room in the attic, Loren slowly opened his eyes.
He looked around. The unfamiliar decor and furnishings left him feeling slightly disoriented. Judging from the light outside, it was still early. He closed his eyes and dozed for a little longer, only getting up when he heard movement outside.
Once dressed and washed, he waved his wand to tidy the bed, opened the door, and headed downstairs. He found Hermione already waiting at the corner at the end of the corridor.
A Pukwudgie Servant was waiting beside her. Hermione wore a faint smile as she occasionally lowered her head to quietly ask about the details of Ilvermorny's employment of Pukwudgies, such as wages, duties, and holiday arrangements.
Loren smiled without realizing it. He did not interrupt their conversation, merely walking naturally to her side as the two continued forward shoulder to shoulder.
The Pukwudgie Servant led the way ahead, guiding them to a side hall of the Great Hall for breakfast. It answered Hermione's questions now and then, speaking at an unhurried pace without the slightest impatience.
