  • Judge learned that the Marines from North Blue Branch 666 had arrived after the failed assassination attempt and ordered them away before reconsidering.
  • Judge decided to meet the Marines and teach their captain that his powerful backing did not mean he possessed real strength.

Ch. 149Armstrong Cyclotron...

Longinus visited Germa 66 to demand the names behind the assassination bounties, but Judge stalled and showed off his weapons. When Judge sabotaged a cannon demonstration to target Longinus’s warship, Longinus caught its blazing shot with his bare hand and warned Judge against firing recklessly.

Ch. 151To Follow One's Heart Without Overstepping the Bounds—Judge (4/5)

Longinus planned to obtain Devil Fruit Items through Judge while keeping his Apophis identity hidden, and Judge began following his instructions. Three months later in Flevance, Longinus told Gion that the kingdom’s Amber Lead had caused a deadly inherited disease and that the Government and royal family had concealed the truth for profit.

  • Longinus ruled out Vegapunk and Caesar as sources for Devil Fruit Item research and decided to rely on Judge while keeping Apophis out of public view.
  • After Longinus departed, Judge asked Bancroft about his children’s chances of reaching Longinus’s strength and ordered him to buy two Devil Fruits as Longinus had instructed.
  • Three months later in Flevance, Longinus explained to Gion that Amber Lead had poisoned the population across generations and caused the kingdom’s deadly Lead Disease.
  • Longinus told Gion that the Government and royal family had known about the disease for a hundred years but concealed it to preserve Amber Lead profits.
  • Longinus asked Gion what position Marines should uphold when the Government and royal family could not represent Justice.
