Background / History

The Seven Injuries Fist originated with the Kongtong Sect. After the White Lotus Sect attacked and annihilated Kongtong, it seized the sect's stored manuals, including the Seven Injuries Fist. The White Lotus Sect considered it suitable for lower-ranking disciples because it progressed quickly and possessed considerable power, despite harming its practitioner. 3 138

Su Que acquired its methods by capturing and interrogating a White Lotus Sect disciple. The disciple could provide only the lower-level transmission, but Su Que memorized the complete training method and began cultivating it in secret. 3 113

The art’s original drawback is damage to the practitioner’s five organs and Yin-Yang Qi. Su Que’s side-effect-reversing ability instead turns this damage into bodily strengthening, increased lifespan, and greater talent. Yin-Yang Five Elements Fiendish Qi

Su Que’s first major modification increases the technique’s self-harm by combining principles from Yin, Yang, and Five Elements martial arts. The resulting fiendish qi damages both the target’s organs and their Yin-Yang Qi. 113
