History

Myriad Poison True Qi is generated when a practitioner ingests toxins and uses the Myriad Poisons Heart Sutra to absorb, blend, and refine them. The Qi is then used to stimulate the Sea of Qi Acupoint and create Poison Sacs for storage. This process is dangerous even with weaker poisonous herbs and insects, which can kill low-level martial artists. 55

Su Que first produces a wisp of deep-purple Myriad Poison True Qi while cultivating from poisonous paste. Its initial emergence occurs before his Poison Sac is complete; once the sac forms, the Qi can be contained and the sutra is considered initiated. 58

The Qi's normal side effect is continuous damage to the cultivator's flesh, meridians, and internal organs. Long-term practitioners without rare treasures to compensate can become physically weak or visibly disfigured, with altered skin, hair, pupils, or fingernails. 74 155 320 Su Que uniquely reverses these side effects, causing the Qi to nourish his body, increase his lifespan, and strengthen his physique instead. 74 152

After acquiring the complete Poison Scripture, Su Que no longer depends on specific prescribed toxins: he can refine large quantities of any poison according to their mutual generation and restraint. 152 In the Upper Realm, he further discovers that another practitioner's Myriad Poison True Qi can be absorbed, converted, and stored as his own, making it a particularly efficient source of advancement. 303 329

Myriad Poison True Qi is generally depicted as deep-purple energy. It can emerge as a wisp, palm-covering vapor, a body-enveloping miasma, condensed sword qi, or a vast cloud and tornado. 58 74 77 250 330
