Sordil repeatedly assured the Women's Army that he would take good care of himself on the journey and would soon return to the Kingdom of Donagunov. Only then did the Women's Army allow him to leave his lodgings and begin his journey. At this moment, Sordil and his companion were traveling towards the Western Border Army in the carriage that Irene had prepared for him.

"Teacher, what is our purpose in returning to the Western Border Army this time?"

After vomiting up all the food he had eaten yesterday, Sordil forcibly suppressed the urge to vomit again, and then explained to Anna, "With a great battle imminent, it's time to tell Kurelle and the others our true identities! Ugh..."

"Teacher, what if Kurelle and the others are loyal to the king, refuse to listen to you, and even want to take us back to Philiers?"

"Ugh... Then we'll have no choice but to use force to control the Western Border Army first, then confront Belmod and force him to abdicate. Once the situation stabilizes, we'll support Gould as the new king to ensure the safety of the United Front Alliance! Ugh..."

As a witness to the formation of the United Front Alliance, Anna knew better than anyone how much effort and dedication Sordil had poured into it. Therefore, Anna also knew Sordil's determination to protect the United Front Alliance; if things really came to that, the His Majesty the King would likely be more than just abdication. However, these were not her concerns. She only needed to stay close to Sordil and help her teacher fulfill his wishes.

Philiers, Royal Palace Council Hall

Belmod, who was dragged out of her warm bed, asked urgently while straightening her clothes, "Prime Minister, what important matter brings you to see me in such Huo Huo?"

The prime minister, who usually spoke highly of the proper etiquette between ruler and subject, had no time to correct Belmod's rudeness. Instead, he said impatiently, "Your Majesty, something terrible has happened! We have just received news that Prince Sordil of Fostadu has led a group of dragon experts to the Kingdom of Donagunov to demand an explanation and has started a fight outside the capital of Dragunov."

Frustrated by having her sweet dream disturbed, Belmod collapsed to the ground upon hearing the Prime Minister's words, staring blankly ahead. After a long while, Belmod regained her senses and hurriedly asked, "And then? What happened next?"

"According to reports from spies, Prince Sordil, the Wise Dragon Belserion, and the Holy Dragon Acnologia engaged in a fierce battle outside the city. In the end, both the Sage Dragon and the Sacred Dragon were defeated. Sordil even carved out a bottomless abyss about twenty meters wide outside the east gate of the capital of the Kingdom of Donagunov."

"Puff"

No sooner had the prime minister finished speaking than Belmod, overcome with shock and rage, coughed up blood and fainted. Seeing Belmod lying motionless on the ground, the prime minister panicked instantly. After a long while, he finally remembered to check Belmod's condition. He reached out and checked Belmod's breath, confirming she was still alive. Then, while shaking the king, the prime minister cried out in alarm.

"His Majesty!"

"His Majesty!"

"Someone, summon the imperial physician immediately! Summon the imperial physician immediately!"

King's Bedchamber

After more than half an hour of effort, the royal physician finally calmed down the scattered magic and blood within Belmod's body. Confirming the king was safe, the physician stopped treatment and slowly retreated outside the bedchamber. Upon seeing the physician emerge, the Queen and others who had been waiting outside immediately surrounded him, inquiring about Belmod's condition.

"Royal Physician, how is the King?"

"Your Queen, this old minister has calmed down the scattered demonic energy and blood in His Majesty's body. After a while, His Majesty should be able to wake up."

Upon learning that Belmod was unharmed, the Queen's anxiety finally subsided. However, the physician's next words sent her into a panic once more.

"However, His Majesty was frightened not long ago and has not yet fully recovered. Now, he is suffering from shock and anger, which is like adding insult to injury. I'm afraid he will need to rest for one to two months to fully recover. Moreover, during this one to two months, His Majesty cannot handle any political affairs, cannot get angry, and cannot be frightened. Otherwise, I'm afraid his life will be in danger!"

After the imperial physician finished speaking, the prime minister was visibly distraught. "The kingdom is currently on the brink of life and death. There are so many matters that require His Majesty's decisions, and yet you say His Majesty needs to rest for one to two months, and during that time cannot handle state affairs. Aren't you afraid that in one or two months, the king will recover, but the kingdom will be gone?"

"Imperial physician, is there any other way besides rest?"

The imperial physician glanced at the prime minister and then said, "Prime Minister, it's not entirely hopeless!"

"What plan? Tell me quickly!"

"If we can find the Heavenly Dragon King Grandilo and have him use healing magic to help the king recover from his injuries, then His Majesty can be fully healed in just a few days!"

The prime minister, who had initially been full of anticipation for the new method, felt an urge to strangle the imperial physician after hearing his words. He knew where the Heavenly Dragon King, Grandilo, was, but did he dare to go and invite him? Even if he dared, given Grandilo's relationship with that person, he couldn't possibly bring him back! Faced with this situation, the prime minister said weakly, "Let His Majesty rest and recuperate for two months!"

A seaport on the Western Continent

Walking among the ruins, looking at the burned walls and smelling the acrid stench in the air, Zeref felt a pang of sorrow and anger. Just as he was feeling sorry for his fallen compatriots, an uncontrollable Black Mist emanated from his body and quickly enveloped the surrounding area.

When the Black Mist dissipated, all the remaining vegetation around had withered and died, and the water was filled with dead fish and shrimp. The ruins of the harbor, however, remained unchanged because no living beings survived. Seeing this, Zeref felt both relieved and heartbroken.

"Forget it, in my current state, I can't save them even if I wanted to. I'd better hurry to Ishgar and meet up with that Bandit guy to see if he can come up with a way to get rid of this trouble for me!"

After saying this, Zeref began searching for a ship to cross the sea in preparation for his journey to Ishgar. Not long after Zeref left the harbor, a flock of dragons flew overhead.

Thinking about the recent events, Selisliu felt like his lungs were about to explode with rage! That Glaide Glad, under the guise of helping him find the mysterious being shrouded in Black Mist, actually used the opportunity to murder his subordinates, causing Bohr Leviers' strength to plummet. Afterwards, he slandered him to Lord Goodpes, accusing him of framing him, which led to Lord Goodpes sending him to the Eastern Continent to scout enemy positions.

Growing increasingly angry, Selisliu instinctively exhaled a breath towards the ground, intending to vent his resentment. However, upon noticing the scene on the ground, Selisliu swallowed the breath back and descended towards the ground.

A giant dragon beside Selisliu, seeing him leave the group, immediately shouted, "Chief, we haven't finished the reconnaissance mission assigned by Lord Goodpes yet. What are you going to do?"

"What are we going to do? Of course, we're going to get revenge on the people who caused us so much trouble!"

"The people who caused us so much trouble? Chief, you mean those bastards from Koreita are around here?"

Hearing their conversation, the dozen or so dragons accompanying them all stopped, angrily scanning their surroundings, trying to find those bastards from Koreita. Just then, Selisliu's shout drifted down from below, snapping the bewildered group out of their daze.

"I'm not talking about those bastards in Koreita, but that mysterious entity that killed so many of our brothers!"
