Just as Kaldiz was in an awkward situation, the protagonist lying on the ground gradually regained consciousness.

"Damn it! I've been shrewd my whole life, but I never expected to be outsmarted by a petty thief. I was so careless! Luckily, Diphiya and the others aren't here, or I would have lost face again!"

After struggling to sit up, supporting himself with his hands, Sordil suddenly noticed countless eyes standing around him. In an instant, a huge flock of crows screeched as they flew overhead, leaving only a line of black dots above his head. The air remained awkwardly silent for four or five minutes until the valiant Lord Kaldiz regained his senses.

"Hey kid, are you alright?"

"I'm not... it's nothing, Uncle Kaldiz. How did I end up with you? And where is this?"

"Oh! Here's what happened. We just spotted the enemy's reconnaissance unit, so we moved our position ahead of time. Diphiya and the others were worried you wouldn't be able to find us, so they sent me to find you. But as soon as I got to the passage, I saw a petty thief blocking my way, so I rushed forward, chased him away, and rescued the victim."

"The situation was urgent at the time, and I didn't have time to check the victim's condition carefully before carrying her back. We only realized the victim was you after we checked her closely just now, so we're standing here quietly waiting for you to wake up. Diphiya, am I right?"

After speaking, Kaldiz smiled at Diphiya and the others. (A cold, hard smile that concealed a dagger; in layman's terms, a half-threatening smile.)

Faced with 'ironclad facts,' what could Diphiya and the others do? They could only 'sincerely' prove it, which is when they began the classic scene of 'I second your opinion.'

"Uncle Kaldiz is right, that's exactly how it is!" (Diphiya)

"That's right! Young Master, that's exactly how it happened! (Murellia)"

"Yes! Yes! (Mevajena, Lindel, Yesveta)"

Sordil, having already made a fool of himself, naturally didn't delve any further, and so the robbery of Sordil ended abruptly.

After dealing with this matter, Sordil began to put the next course of action on the agenda.

"Gentlemen, we have now recalled the Western Continent troops escorting the grain transport convoy, and have kept them occupied for the time being. I think it's time for us to return to the sea, join up with Igneel and the others, and prepare to receive the grain sent to us by our friends from the Western Continent!"

"Great! We can finally have a good fight with those guys from the Western Continent!" (Kaldiz)

"That's good, at least we won't be chased around like rats by those guys!" (Lindel)

"Alas! What a pity, we couldn't empty all the secret realms of the Western Continent!" (Yesveta)

Upon hearing the greedy man's thoughts, the other six either looked up to study the stars or covered their faces with one hand, ignoring him.

However, this minor incident did not affect the voting process, and three minutes later, the proposal to return to the sea was passed unanimously, making the council a complete success. The next step was to translate the meeting's decision into action, so a certain busy young master began setting up Teleportation Array to return to the sea within the cave.

A moment later, the Teleportation Array array was completed, and the group rode on a silvery-white beam of light to their next destination.

"Buzz"

The air vibrated, followed by a flash of silvery-white light that illuminated the pitch-black environment. Stimulated by the light, the original inhabitants fled the area, and the next second, five or six hundred enormous creatures appeared, completely filling the relatively spacious underwater cave.

Before these uninvited guests could even get a foothold, a dozen or so equally large creatures burst into the cave.

"Prince Sordil, you're finally back! Chief Igneel and the others have been waiting for you like crazy!"

Upon hearing the visitor's words, the sensitive Sordil immediately asked, "Brother Igneel and the others are alright, aren't they?"

"Nothing has happened, but Boss Igneel keeps coming here several times a day and repeating the same sentence over and over again. We're getting tired of hearing it!"

"Haha! If I'm not mistaken, what Brother Igneel is probably wondering is, 'Why hasn't Brother Sordil returned yet?'"

"Prince Sordil, you guessed perfectly, that's exactly what Igneel was saying!"

"Ha ha!"

"Ha ha!"

Hearing their conversation, everyone in the cave burst into laughter, which lasted for several minutes before gradually subsiding. Then, Sordil said to the others, "Let's go find Brother Igneel and the others. It's time to put an end to this long war!"

"Yes!"

On the sea, a huge group was slowly moving forward. Actually, calling them a group was not quite accurate, because they were more like wounded soldiers who had just retreated from the battlefield, free and undisciplined, with no order whatsoever!

"Chief Glaide, is it possible for us to return to Ishgar alive?"

"Chief Feldroka, we are only a short distance from Ishgar. We will definitely be able to return to the camp safely!"

"Maybe!"

Glaide, of course, knew why Feldroka would say that; after all, judging by the timeline, those terrifying beings should have already prepared a farewell feast for them. However, even so, Glaide wouldn't give up. He was prepared to fight with all his might, and whether he could survive would depend on his luck. (Although his luck had never been very good!)

What's puzzling is that the farewell gifts they didn't want to see, and the friends who came to bid them farewell, never appeared.

As the continent drew ever closer, hope began to rise among everyone in the group. Even pessimists like Feldroka started to feel that they might be able to leave this terrifying sea safely.

As Glaide's mind gradually relaxed, a sudden, terrifying thought struck him. Although his emotions vehemently rejected it, his reason told him that the idea was highly plausible. After arguing in his mind for a long time, his reason finally prevailed over his emotions.

Just as he was about to tell everyone his thoughts, the farewell party began!

"Whoosh!"

"Whoosh!"

Fireworks of various colors, symbolizing death and parting, shot out from under the sea, flying straight toward Glaide and the others, and then exploded in front of them.

"Ah!"

"Roar!"

Cheers erupted from the crowd, and then some passionate members splashed red paint into the sea. Before anyone could respond, a second wave of fireworks rose from the sea and hurtled towards the group.

"Whoosh!"

"Whoosh!"

After the first group of "passionate guests," the number of impulsive, sentimental individuals decreased significantly this time, with the vast majority choosing to respond to their Old Friend ' enthusiasm with a dodge dance. Among them, Glaide, who was the first to understand his old Old Friend' feelings, danced the dodge dance the best and most effortlessly. In contrast, Feldroka's dancing talent was much less, so he could only be one of the few sentimental individuals, throwing himself into the embrace of the sea to meet his Old Friend who were in the water.

Perhaps because this was the last time they would meet, the Old Friend was especially enthusiastic this time, with fireworks rising one after another from under the sea without interruption, and in much greater numbers than before.

"Oh no! The force that went to the Western Continent to contain Olibuk and his men has returned!"

Realizing that the number of Old Friend had increased, Glaide dared not linger on the outer edge of the group any longer and ran straight towards the center.

Seeing Glaide's actions, some clever and shrewd individuals followed suit. Although they didn't understand the significance of their actions, they knew that following their leader Glaide would at least increase their chances of survival. As a result, the outer defenses of the group instantly collapsed, and everyone became trapped beasts awaiting their doom.
